Concierge Sophia Rodriguez went above and beyond in securing a reservation for Sunday Carnival parade location. Sophia gave us three options and one was perfect. Stress free and guided us every step of the way. We very much appreciated her professionalism in securing us an amazing spot. Diana Sophia Rodriguez was friendly, helpful and very pleasant to work with. My wife and I appreciate her very much.

Concierge Sofia Rodriguez a gem at the Costa de Oro
Always a pleasant time at at the Costa de Oro. The staff are amazing from reception through to the maintenance staff. We had the pleasure of Diana Sofia Rodriguez assisting us with obtaining a place to watch the Carnival parade on short notice Sophia went above and beyond giving us 3 wonderful options. One of which was perfect for us….she made the contact and guided us the whole way. Very grateful for this professional young lady .

A great hotel in southern Golden zone
Have stayed in Golden zone once before. This hotel has a good location to the golden zone, the malecon and even the historical zone. Across the road from GusGus for a bar and nightly entertainment. Close to Katrina bar and Diahgo’s and closer to a Clip up and Lucky Bs. The rooms here are clean and maintained by a good staff of men and women. The bartender, Carlos , makes the best and smoothest margaritas. Housekeeping is ran smoothly my a middle age woman that keeps her staff cleaning at 100%. The beach is clear of all rocks, or coral outcrops and is not littered with sharp shells Good hotel. Good value. Good location.

Friendly and helpful staff!
Everyone at Costa de Oro was very friendly and helpful. They helped us navigate anything we wanted to do. Sofia helped us book all of our activities, which included a ride to and from the hotel. Great service! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nov 17, 2025Not so good, cockroachs in room
Cockroach! We stayed here four years ago and it was great. This time not so good. A bunch of cockroaches in our room. Hotel staff pretty indifferent about it. Other than that it was ok. Won’t come back.
