If you want a cozy, family-like atmosphere surrounded with clear water and gentle waves, this is the place! Snorkeling is just a few steps from any cottage you choose and the best in the island. Really enjoyed using the covered pavilion and grills too! Already booked again for next year!

Wonderful vacation at the cottages
We had a wonderful time at the Cottages. The beaches are absolutely perfect. The cottage was nice and clean. The air air-conditioning worked well. Staff was so friendly and accommodating.

The best place to stay on St. Croix!
Cottages By The Sea is my favorite place to go on vacation. The cottages are all unique and have a great Caribbean vibe. Each one is decorated in vibrant colors and have a cool design with most having a kitchen so you can do your own cooking if you want. I’ve stayed there five years in a row and it never disappoints!! The staff is super friendly and helpful if you need anything and the beach is the best one on the island with crystal clear water and soft sand. One of the things we love most about returning to this resort every year is seeing so many of the same people. Most return year after year and everyone is always friendly. Between the charming cottages, amazing beach, friendly staff, and familiar faces, it’s easy to see why we keep coming back year after year. We can’t recommend Cottages By The Sea enough and are already counting down the days until our next stay!

Cottages by the Sea
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay at Cottages by the Sea. Friends have been going here in the winter for over 20 years, so we thought we'd try it. The cottages were sweet and so close to the sand and beach. We stayed in Martha, which is probably the smallest of the full cottages, but it was no smaller than a hotel room and had a nice covered patio out back with a small view of the ocean. Guests were friendly and most are long-time visitors. One of the common grills was available every time we wanted to cook on property. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This side of the island has the best beaches and snorkeling on the island (West is Best) and is about 30 mins away from the east side entertainment/shops/town/harbor/Buck Island. Rent a car so you can explore the island. VERY relaxing stay and will come back for sure!! Thank you all for a wonderful winter getaway.

Peace and Serenity
Very relaxing , quite, and low key environment. Met many repeat patrons that have been coming down for years. Easy to and from airport. Staff was very accommodating and polite. Our cottage and the grounds were clean and well maintained and our cottage had a full kitchen. Our cottage was literally on the beach. Watched the sunset every night as the resort is on the west side of the island. We will be back only longer this time.
