10* Resort for couples to getaway and relax
This is resort is a 12/10. The location is perfect on the pristine soft-sands of 7 Mile Beach in Negril. The water is perfect in colour and temperature. The atmosphere at the resort is relaxing and fun, not chaotic. Rooms are clean with fresh towels and nice bathrooms and balconies. The service was top notch with the friendliest staff I have ever seen. Great value for your money. We were not bothered by any noise despite our room being down the hall from the amazing night club. I highly recommend going there for a nice adults only vacation

Our Happy Place
We had the most wonderful visit this past Christmas. As with many others, we were hesitant about our trip and worried about the impact of the hurricane, but upon arrival at the hotel, our worries quickly vanished (although the drive to the resort you do witness the tremendous damage this island suffered). The resort looked amazing and you would never know such a violent storm had swung through. The property looked better than ever, the staff had worked hard getting it ready for their guests and it showed. Although the beach was not as big as recent visits, it was still wonderful. We have seen it like this before and have also seen it recover. We like to stay in atrium suites to feel close to nature and enjoyed the hammock and tree frogs at night. Our room was kept remarkably clean and housekeeping did a great job with a big shout out to Alison who was our housekeeper most days for the second year in a row. Speaking of staff, they were warm and friendly and very appreciative of having us all come back and support them. From the groundskeepers to the front desk, security, maintenance, bartenders, kitchen staff, and servers , all our interactions were very pleasant and we enjoyed talking to them all on this trip. We brought some much needed supplies to help out the many who still have no homes and/or electricity and we were glad that management was supportive of this. While we were disappointed that Patios was not open for breakfast, we enjoyed all of our meals and even got to have breakfast twice at Seagrapes with one day having my favorite- banana stuffed French toast. Bananas were pretty much non-existent but one morning, the chef Anita brought some from her home and treated those of us lucky enough to be dining that morning. Talk about going above and beyond! I hope they keep this as a breakfast location because we loved it and the menu. Our meals at Feathers were some of the best we’ve ever had here and all three visits we had the wonderful Nastassia as our server. This was our 13th visit to Swept Away and our 12th Christmas in a row. Some years we stay for New Years and some not, but we had such a wonderful time especially with all our friends we’ve met over the years that we decided to change our flights and stay one more day to experience their fabulous New Year’s Eve extravaganza - probably the best one yet. (The Christmas Eve cocktail party and Santa’s arrival on Christmas day are also fabulous every year!) We love the beach, floating in the ocean, walking down to all the little places along the beach, the nightly entertainment, the piano bar, the amazing workout/tennis facilities across the street (don’t miss out on this) and the spa. As repeat guests, we always do the couples massage and use resort credits to upgrade to an hour. This year, I went back for a second massage from the excellent McNeil who gave me one of the best I have ever had! We’d love to give some shout outs to some amazing people who made this trip even more wonderful this year: our drivers to and from-Dean and Demitri, Yasaunnia in Guest Relations who helped me tremendously with dining reservations etc; Rosetta, Sally, and Al-Jay at Feathers; Shanika and Hakeem who were our entertainment at Bamboo Bar; Rochelle at Seagrapes who not only waited on us but also cooked some days; Marisha (server) at Seagrapes and Dimiltry (chef) ; Chevell at Scotch Bonnett, and sweet Aisha who is training for bar and served us at various venues during our 12 day stay. If you are on the fence about traveling to CSA, don’t hesitate to book now. We cannot wait to return for our 14th trip next Christmas. Going to CSA every year is like going “home” and seeing family (staff and fellow guests) - our happy place!

Give it a go.
Over all its a nice resort. Is it luxury? No. But I would call it upscale. The rooms are nice and ample. We had a basic room. I just wish it had a soaker tub. All the room have a balcony and if you are on a ground floor you get a little walkway to your patio. The food for the most part was just so so. 2 of the restaurants require reservations that I found out that they favor returning guests with reservations. However, we did manage to snag a reservation at the Asian restaurant at the last minute for a late dinner(8:45 pm). Feathers Restaurant HANDS DOWN blew us out of the water with presentation, service, and OMG DELICIOUISNESS!!! The entertainment was meah...we did have alot of fun with the entertainment crew and the different activities that they offered. We were there for NYE and I will say that they really pull out all the stops but we were disappointed that the food was disappointing. A for effort and presentation. Everyone we encounter was warm, friendly and welcoming. Order ANY DRINK you can think of and they will make it. 2 words PURPLE RAIN. Trust me! The sports complex is wonderful and impressive. They offer a wide range of exercise classes, a lap pool, tennis, basketball, pickleball too!!! The resort offers a ton of water activites that most other resorts make you pay extra for. The beach is wonderful but you will want to get out here early to grab chairs. Just use your towels from your room. Would we go back? Yes. But we would like to try a different resort.

Amazing week at Couples Swept Away
We had an incredible stay at Couples Swept Away. The food was great, the sports facilities were excellent, and the beach is hands down one of the best we’ve ever been to. Huge shoutout to Donovan and Stephen — their service was outstanding, and the staff at the sports facilities were awesome as well. Rooms were cosy and comfy, and the overall vibe of the resort was relaxed and perfect for couples. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it!
