  Classic Courtyard Experience with nice Maui touches

  Perfect final stop of our trip prior to heading to the airport. Service was great. We appreciated Jen offering us a late check out after learning our snorkel tour had been canceled and pushed to the morning of our flight home - leaving little time for lagging. The pool area was really cute, too! Lots of space - unexpected for such a central location. The hotel is located right near a lot of food trucks and some great local food. Paia is a short drive away and we spent quite a bit of time there after discovering some great beaches and restaurants! I was impressed to see they had a concierge! Nice offering you generally don't see - I could see this being a huge perk for folks traveling on a budget but wanting amenities of larger resort hotels. 4 stars vs. 5 only because the rooms and building are feeling a little tired. Only two towels in the room, and felt a bit musty - but very clean.

  Another wonderful evening at The Courtyard Maui

  Always a pleasure to stay at the Marriott Courtyard, especially after a long drive from Hana or a late or early flight out of Kahului. The shuttle service is super-efficient and pleasant. Haley and others at the front desk are always welcoming. I've discovered the best margarita in Maui. Last week, it was made by Denise. She explained they only use fresh squeezed lime juice and, of course, quality tequila. I have an early flight Monday. I'll see you Sunday night. The rooms are quiet and comfy.

  Amazing staff and experience! Mahalo!

  I can not recommend this hotel enough!!! I was staying here for over 3 weeks because my husband was in the hospital close by with life threatening illness. The staff here at this hotel...every single person...managers, front desk, janitors, housekeepers, restaurant staff, van drivers...absolutely everyone...are the most caring, loving, positive group of people I have ever encountered! They carried me through this most difficult time with such heart and hope and joy! I will be forever grateful to this new "family" I have acquired. They really showed the true "aloha spirit"! As for the hotel itself, though not fancy, it is great. My room was clean and well appointed. The pool and hot tub are fab! The restaurant and convenience store as well. The 24 hours shuttle van to the airport and hospital is amazing. So prompt! Mahalo my Courtyard Marriott family! I am forever grateful and miss you all! Stay well and happy and healthy!

  Poor customer service experience

  I had a very poor experience checking in. 😌 That's too bad because it sets a negative tone and vibe. I like that the parking is free. Many food trucks near by.

  Pleasantly surprised

  Stayed one night at this location, before checking into our condo. While we stay at a lot of Marriotts, I typically avoid the Courtyards when staying with family. I was not expecting much, since it an airport location but I was very pleasantly surprised. The manager greeted us upon our arrival, made us feel welcome. The pool was nice, but we really enjoyed the fire pit in the evening, and the hot tub. Gym seemed good too, and we took advantage of the onsite laundry machines. Concierge was pleasant, and knowledgeable. Convenient location because there are food trucks basically in the parking lot, and more food trucks a 2 or 3 minute walk away. Costco across the street. Loved the food trucks because we had not picked up our rental yet. Room surprisingly big with exceptionally large living area with pull out sofa and was surprised with a full kitchen (maybe this was a residence in at some point?). Not sure every room has the kitchen but ours did. My daughter liked our one night stay at the Courtyard better than our condo stay. Would definately stay here again if I was renting a car. Maybe not be that convenient if you don’t have a rental car. Only negative- person that picked us up from airport was not friendly and threw our suitcases in the van, then upon unloading actually dropped the briefcase carrying the laptop. Luckily no damage. But otherwise very pleasant albeit short stay.
