Amazing Water Park but Average Overall Stay

We stayed at The Cove and the water park was by far the highlight of the entire trip. It is incredible for kids, very well designed, and offers a wide range of attractions for all comfort levels. We found a quiet set of chairs to escape the crowds briefly, which made the day more relaxing. Towels and amenities were easy to get, and the pool areas looked clean and well maintained. Lines ran anywhere from three to twenty minutes. The Leap of Faith was amazing, scary, and so much fun. The rapid river and tube attractions were also big hits. Some of the line attendants were fantastic and kind to the kids, but others seemed distracted. At one point an attendant was chatting with a friend and forgot to stop the conveyor belt, and my child had to grab the railing quickly to avoid colliding with the rider in front of him. That should never fall on a kid to manage. As for the room at The Cove, our experience was overall average. I am not particularly price sensitive, but the rooms felt overpriced for what we received. Everything is in need of a refresh. Our bathroom had rust, the bathtub faucet leaked and never got hot, and the overall condition felt dated. The bed was comfortable and the view was truly beautiful. Even though we were only the third room from the elevator, the elevator noise kept us up at night even with earplugs. Check in was smooth and the staff throughout the property were friendly, and the resort is huge but manageable once you understand the layout. We also had access to the Lapis Lounge. The staff were genuinely helpful and the space was relaxing with a lovely view. The food there was just okay, but we enjoyed playing games together and taking a break from the crowds. Dining overall was another low point. We ate at Paranza, Seafire Steak, and Perch. The focaccia with olive oil at Paranza was wonderful, but everything else felt average. We are used to very fresh, high quality food at home, and the meals here did not stand out. For future visits, I would plan to eat off property as much as possible. The resort is visually impressive and the water park is excellent for families, but between the dated rooms, average food, and inconsistent safety oversight, I am not sure it justifies the high price. Kids may absolutely love it, but adults looking for a luxury stay may want to adjust expectations or consider staying elsewhere and visiting for the day.

    Plus and minus

Nice place and beautiful however it is way overpriced. If you're good at spending close to $10K for a 5-7 day vacation then it's good but the average person doesn't have that type of money. The casino experience was subpar. The tables were not plentiful and favorable to an experience and serious gambler. Vegas has much better odds and way more tables. Great beach and spot for vacation but poor for gambling if you're serious about it.

    Great place for all ages

Perfect place for adults and families with young children. We've stayed in the Royal, Cove, and Reef towers, each have their benefits. Royal tower is a standard hotel room that's located in the casino area and a short walking distance to the movie theater and restaurants. The Cove is beautiful tower that has its "Cove only" adult pool located close to the beach and the restaurant Fish. The rooms at the Cove have a separate livingroom area with a mini fridge, sofa, coffee table and an additional table with 2 chairs. There is a small wall that divides the livingroomfrom the bedroom area, giving it a more home feel. The Cove also has a small casino located a 2 min walk from the elevator doors. The Reef is great for families. The Reef has a Starbucks located in the lobby. The rooms in the Reef are similar to the Cove in that they have a mini fridge and livingroom area. I'm addition, there is a microwave in the room that can help cut down on food expenses while in the Bahamas. Our choice is ALWAYS the Cove, but you can't go wrong with any of the above mentioned towers.

Atlantis is the Best! I loved Staying at the Cove and Royal!

Staying at The Cove at Atlantis was one of the most relaxing, stylish escapes I’ve ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I’d stepped into a private oceanfront sanctuary — the lobby is open-air and elegant, with warm Bahamian breezes and a calm, refined energy. Food options are fantastic: you have access to so many dining spots in the wider Atlantis resort, plus some really classy places. I loved the variety — from Nobu-style sushi to local Bahamian flavors, and even fine Italian. By the time I checked out, I genuinely didn’t want to leave. The Cove isn’t just a hotel — it’s a full-on paradise bubble where everything feels brighter, calmer, and a little magical. Waking up to turquoise water, spending the day between the beach and the pools, and ending the night with world-class dining… it was perfection from start to finish. And above everything — the beauty, the views, the luxury — what truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Every smile, every “good morning,” every small gesture of kindness added so much warmth to the experience. You can tell the team here takes real pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail, from housekeeping to the pool attendants to the front desk. To the entire Cove team: thank you. You don’t just run a resort — you create memories. And this stay is one I’ll carry with me for a very long time.

    Incredible first stay!

Incredibly luxurious stay at The Cove. For our first trip to Atlantis, we wanted to go for the gusto we sure got it. High end, incredible staff, incredible food, easy accessibility to other parts of the report, pool-side table games, just to name a few. Will be back asap.
