Stay away from The Cove during construction
I would have highly recommended the resort and it’s planned to return after the first half of our trip. Once construction started outside of our balcony and the nonstop jackhammering began it was unbearable. I was shocked that they would place people in rooms known to be near the construction noise. Staff was not helpful or apologetic. We paid a premium price and weren’t able to tolerate being in our room most of the day. We had no warning of this until check in when we were told they do their best to keep guests away from the construction so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Atlantis has something for everyone!
Our family of 5 loved Atlantis! There is so much to do, we didn’t need to leave the property for 4 days. We tried a new pool each day, did all the slides multiple times, went to the beach and lagoon- we loved it all. We also used the kids club one day which the kids (ages 10,8 and 5) all loved, and also did rise and shine at dolphin cay which was a lot of fun and a great value compared to other dolphin experiences (just fyi no petting but lots of interaction). Since we stayed at the cove my husband and I were able to use the adult pool which was really relaxing- not a party scene but there was a dj and good music. You can’t go wrong with Atlantis!

If you like spending tons of money and getting treated like garbage - this is the place for you
The hotel is gorgeous and well maintained, but the food is mediocare at most and the service is even worse than that . I wouldnt mind if it cost a couple hundreds , but we paid over $1K per night. The staff are very good at asking for gratuity, but not very good at providing it . There was no bell boy service upon arrival , no water in the room after 10 hour flight, whenever you ask for something they send you from one person to another , sometimes you have to walk half a mile between people only to be sent back, as if none of them wants to help . When someone finally asked me how can they help , I said I needed a bell boy to carry my lugage and they sent me all the way to the lobby to get him .

Watch your Room Folio Charges Closely- Incorrect Billings NEVER resolved
Keep your room charge reciepts. Charges were applied to my bill and were never removed. Booking credits give were never applied. Charged over $250 we never spent but was applied to our bill. Upon check-in at 3 PM we did not get our room keys until 7 PM.

Terrible rooms and food. Nice pools/beach
I will start with the positive. The pools beach and grounds in general are very nice. Lots of options and nothing seemed too crowded except the adults only pool. However if you like luxury run. We paid 1k a night for an ocean view “suite” in the cove and it was extremely disappointing. It is extremely outdated and looks like it hasn’t been touched since 1990. I could recommend places for 1/3 of the price that are 10x nicer and more luxurious. The carpet was disgusting and peeling up in several spots in our room along with dirt all along the walls (see pics below). Also if you care about good food look elsewhere. We ate at sea fire nobu and silan the first 3 nights. Sea fire was terrible the rest were average at best and everything was extremely overpriced. My last 5 meals were all at shake shack because it was the only thing decent. We were also told the cove was adults only but our floor was filled with kids everywhere. My wife and I personally will not be back.
