Beautiful place. HUGE SAFETY ISSUE & DO NOT BUY A MEMBERSHIP!
Cozumel Palace is a great place and wonderful staff. It is a smaller and more personal resort, which we liked. But…they have a huge safety issue with the material used as their pool decking. It is extremely slippery. I saw many people slip, some fall, kids crying because they fell, guest walking with baby steps just to protect themselves. They know it’s an issue. Let’s see if they care enough about their guests to fix it. I won’t go back until they do and would NEVER bring my 78yo mother. I have been a member of Palace resorts since 2015. They have beautiful resorts, but their sales team are deceitful snakes. DO NOT BUY A MEMBERSHIP! Our last upgrade was 2024 and we keep uncovering outright lies and fabrications on what we were sold.

Great vacation
Very enjoyable trip. Great facility, food, and staff. View was outstanding. Only complaint was one of 2 elevators was out of service for our entire trip significantly slowing down trips up and down from room to lobby.

Best on Cozumel
We have stayed at the Cozumel palace many times and it continues to be our favorite family vacation spot. My family loves diving with aqua safari (Walter) that’s on site at the resort. We love all of the staff there as well. Charlie, David, Jairo, Pearla just to name a few. They always go above and beyond to be friendly, helpful and accommodating. On our recent trip we all ended up with the flu. The front desk called daily to check on us. It was nice to have 24hour room service and an even bigger win was the chicken and rice soup on the menu. I felt like I hit the lottery when I found that. The palace is the nicest place to stay on the island. The food is amazing and even better, it is walkable to town. The other resorts we have stayed at are at least a 30 min cab ride to town. If you’re looking for luxury accommodations, amazing staff, and a new and updated resort look no further. We love this place

4 stars hotel / 3 stars food
5 night stay at Cozumel Palace AI. It’s more boutique hotel. It’s on the beach but basically above the beach. No sandy beach to enter water. You may feel cooped up since eating all meals here. It is not a grand resort. More nice hotel. Property recently updated and is very nice. Good lobby vibe with bar. Some nights live music. Every night shows. Pool is decent size not huge with organized volleyball games. Snorkeling on property fun and kayak and paddle board included. Get up early for beach chairs. Hard to decide on how many stars. Staff very nice. But the turn off for us is food. I know AI food not the best and we live in major city with great food options. So we are spoiled. Hotel experience 4 stars . Food 3. We stayed at ziva in Dominican Republic and food excellent. End of day I want great food if I am paying upfront for all my meals. House wine absolutely not drinkable ( tried a white and a red) and didn’t feeling like paying extra for wine that was very overpriced. Bar selection for mixed drinks good. Spa very nice but perhaps a bit expensive 225$ massage $63 basic pedicure ( not including gratuity). Mostly families. Great location to town center. If you are interested in ferry easy access. Walmart type store across street great for misc stuff. Time share people hang around at beginning but firm no and you are good. Easy to get taxi to airport. Depends on what is most important.

Best resort in Cozumel
The service, the staff, beautiful views, awesome food, scuba diving, and cleanliness make Cozumel Palace one of our favorites that we want to keep coming back to! All of our service was wonderful, but these are just a few that went above and beyond: Restaurants: Raul, Eddy,Antonio, Gabriel Pool: Javier, Alan, Charley—paddle board and entertainment, Jorge, Perla Spa: Luz, Lourdes, Yara, Minerva, Marie, Arjelo Lobby bar:: Rodri, Hector Water aerobics: David, Fernando Wine tasting/romantic dinner: Carlinis, Alexander, Somollier::Joel
