So enjoy the Palace! It’s our favorite place to stay on the island. We started each morning with a wonderful breakfast greeted by friendly, welcoming faces. Gabriel, Fili and Miguel were so special and provided us with excellent service. Also, the pastries are amazing.

Best vacation ever!
Cozumel Palace is the best all-inclusive resort I have ever been to. The service is unbeatable! The food and drinks are amazing. I 100% recommend this resort.

Cozumel Palace by the sea!
Amazing hospitality, the staff is so attentive to the guests! Try to get a table at Flamingos on an evening with a nice sunset and you won't be disappointed! Victoria and her colleagues were so nice to us! It was our second stay at Cozumel Palace, won't be the last!

Sep 01, 2026Beautiful Renovation, but an Overpriced and Disappointing Stay
3/5 — Beautiful Property, Exceptional Staff, but Disappointing Stay I recently stayed here and, as someone who frequently visits the island, I was genuinely excited to experience the property after watching it undergo renovations. Unfortunately, the stay did not live up to my expectations. First, I want to emphasize that the staff was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, and they truly made the best of the experience. This review is in no way a reflection of the staff—they were the highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, several aspects of the property fell short. The food was subpar compared with other options available on the island, which was disappointing given the overall price of the stay. I stayed in a Superior Oceanfront Suite, Room 311, and while the room itself was nice, the location was not ideal. The ocean view was disappointing, and the smell coming from (Flamingo's restaurant room above the restaurant) was quite strong at times and actually gave me a headache. The room was also located near the service elevator and ice machine, resulting in a significant amount of noise. Noise was a broader issue throughout the stay. I could clearly hear the occupants in the rooms above and beside me, including toilets flushing, conversations and arguments, and children crying at various times throughout the night. This made it difficult to get a peaceful night’s sleep. That said, there are definitely positives. The facilities are nice, the pools are enjoyable, and the location is excellent. Being close to the ocean and within easy access of the city center are major advantages. Overall, I wanted to love this property, especially after seeing the renovations take place, but unfortunately, the experience did not justify the price. The stay felt significantly overpriced for what was delivered. With improvements to the food, room placement/noise insulation, and overall guest experience, I believe this property could be much better. The staff deserves 5 stars—the overall stay, unfortunately, was closer to 3 stars.
