It needs to be updated and more maintenance.food needs to be reviewed and gone over staff was good bars we fantastic cleaning stuff were good as well

Bit of a mixed bag. Pros: food was good and the rooftop pool was warm with a swim up bar, beds were comfy, and friendly helpful staff, fun pool activities. Cons: drinks were watered down, not good at all. sewage issues near the tennis courts, keycard kept not working, plumbing issue in the room, pool was more than underwhelming, and the hot tub which was more of a warm tub was dirty.

My experience here on my honeymoon was 100000 stars better than Cancun .. All staff outdoors and inside we’re extremely kind, always smiley faces and amazing attention with us at all times.. food the best.. our room was great,clean and cleaning lady great! we will come back,, thank you a million

Oceanfront
Very disappointed of the oceanfront room (it was very hot) the room temperature were between 24-27….

We have stayed at this resort several times in the past, so we kind of knew what to expect. When we arrived Daniel met as we were entering the resort and was awesome. We asked him about the room we were going to be in, because when we booked the Ocean Front Rooms weren’t listed, and this is where we kind of wanted to be. He told us he had the perfect room for us if we were interested in upgrading. He took us to the check in, paid for the up grade and we’re given room 2604. After check in Daniel took our luggage and escorted us to our room. Our room was on the top floor without any palm trees blocking our view and over looking the enter Banderas Bay. Daniel then asked if he would like for him to check to see if he could get us reservations for the Mexican Restaurant that night, which he was able to do. This was awesome because after traveling for 7 hours, we were tired and didn’t need hassle finding a restaurant and making reservations. Thank you Daniel! When we got to the Mexican Restaurant, we were greeted by Ivonne who was wonderful. Ivonne was so helpful with suggestions and our order and had a big warm smile. My husband ordered and loved the bone marrow appetizer. I had shrimp appetizer and dinner. We were both stuffed and thought about passing on dessert, when Ivonne came out with cake, candle & ice cream and a Happy 35th Anniversary written in chocolate on the plate. I had know idea she knew it was our Anniversary. I must have mentioned it to Daniel before check in as to why we wanted to upgrade rooms if possible. Communication between employees made our night perfect! We found the perfect cabana bed with shade which was very comfortable. Was surprised there was no charge for these and that they were all available still at 10am. Buffett breakfast was good with a wide variety of breakfast items. The Buffett for lunch and dinner was pretty much the same and could get monotonous if you ate there every day (which we didn’t). Beach was nice and you could take as long of walk as you wanted, we like the location. We were here in September, which was very hot and effected a could things on our review. We were here for 9 nights and because of our wonderful first experience with the Mexican Restaurant, we thought we would try it again. But second time wasn’t quite the same. Ivonne was there and greeted us with her wonderful smile. But the air-conditioning was not working. Wasn’t the waitresses fault, but very hard to enjoy dinner when it’s 90 degrees and no fans or circulation. We got appetizer & entrée and left as soon as we could. Found a new restaurant in the Marina that just opened up three months ago which was air-conditioned and wonderful. We highly recommend everyone to make a reservation there, get a taxi and try Mesón Ibérico in the Marina. Outstanding food and service. Probably one of the best restaurants we have ever gone to in Puerto Vallarta and we have been coming here since 1986. PROS: Staff is awesome. Always smiling and helpful Price is very reasonable for an all-inclusive. Rooms are clean Loved our view from our balcony (2604) Food is good for an all-inclusive Love the Roof Top pool …. Seemed cooler than by the pool or beach and the views are stunning. CONS: Resort needs updating. Air-conditioning in the rooms can only be turned down to 78 degrees which is too warm … plus there was no fan in our room 🥵 🔥 🥵 . Dinner options weren’t the best, we went out of the resort most of the time.
