    Horrible Hotel...Do not book here!

Hotel is terrible. Rooms are gross and I felt unsafe. Bad experience from start to finish. I left as soon as I made new arrangements. I DID NOT spend 1 night here.

    Unpleasant stay

Not satisfied with the quality of food, the rooms, or the shows. The safe was broken. The toilet paper holder was broken. The toilet door wouldn’t close. As far as the food, it just didn’t taste good in any of the restaurants. Only the buffets had any good food.

    A few surprises

Overall we had a great time. Don’t look too closely as this is a tired resort. It needs a lot of work. The pools are in need of full tile replacement, the room AC doesn’t really cool without the help of the fans which need to be run continuously and at high speed. Most importantly, you CANNOT drink the water in the rooms. That presents a few problems, but we were brought plenty of bottled water. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food was excellent. Francisco is kind and a jewel. German at the Concierge desk is sweet and quite knowledgeable and ever helpful. The Sky Pool is lovely, but it is full of what looks like skin cells (gross) and either there is no filtering system or it needs work and I never saw them use a skimmer. We stayed out of it after our 1st dip. The main pool was clean. The swim bar/small pool is also questionable about the cleanliness. We love the All-Inclusive, especially that one does not have to ever see or sign a bill. The specialty restaurants were wonderful. The French San Soucis was our favorite. It is next door at the Family resort. It was my daughter & my first time at an Adults only resort and now we are spoiled by how nice that is. Pool Cabanas are filled by 8am. If you want one, you’ll need to get up early. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay The resort has plenty of cabanas and chairs on the beach as well. Note: If you are not fluent in Spanish, you may not be able to converse with the major majority of the guests. If they do a major renovation, we would go back.

    Great for the price

Spend three days here solo and I could've stayed longer. It was just what I was looking for - laying by the beach or the pool all day drinking and eating. Could the quality of the food be better? Yes. However, it truly was all-inclusive and found no reason to leave the hotel. I would definitely come back if I need another few days to recharge.
