Fantastic Stay!!
My wife and I spent 4 days at the Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel for our 8th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful stay. The location was very convenient to restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee shops, the Ferry, taxis and jeep rentals. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The price value was excellent! However, the best thing was Denise (the owner) and her staff. They definitely have the “gifts of hospitality”. They made great recommendations and have their “fingers on the pulse” and “vibe” of St. John Island. I highly recommend this place!!!

We booked a stay with a small group of couples to be the end of our trip around the BVI. On the first day of the trip my wife became ill and we had to return home to get her emergency care (hospital surgery etc) I communicated with the hotel 5 days prior to our stay to cancel. Booked through Expedia and there was 30 days cancellation policy. I spoke with the hotel and had Expedia communicate with them. They chose to not allow us to cancel. When speaking with them they said they will be following the policy and cannot cancel the reservation. I asked if they could cancel but is it “they choose not to” and he said yes they choose not to. So we paid for the room while we were in hospital in US. Our friends went continued the trip and said the hotel was very MEH. They don’t care about the wellbeing of their guests just money. If you do choose to stay there get trip insurance.

A Little Slice of Heaven in the Heart of St. John
You can't beat the location and customer service. Set in the heart of Cruz Bay, the hotel is a short walk from the ferry dock (you can literally roll your luggage) and steps away from restaurants and shopping. Denise was supportive throughout the booking process, keeping me up to date via email and was just as lovely in person. The complimentary coffee and breakfast included is a wonderful way to begin your day in paradise. Denise takes pride in the property and added touches like water, ice, coolers and beach chairs set the Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel apart from other area accomdations. I encourage you to have breakfast on the veranda. . Grocery stores and a bakery are a short distance away. You can even find books across the street. Ask for Linda, you won't be disappointed. Bring an open mind and enjoy paradise. We are planning a return trip for Christmas.

Great boutique hotel in St. John
We had such a delightful stay at this boutique hotel. The room was very clean and was always stocked with fresh bath and beach towels. The owner and all staff were friendly and kind and went the extra mile to make our stay great. We loved the included continental breakfast, complimentary water, beach chairs and coolers. We used everything. It was so convenient to walk to dinner and the taxis to the beach. Nothing was too far away. We also really enjoyed hanging out on the covered porch and talking with the other guests. It was a fantastic experience and we will definitely return. Thank you, Denise, Terri and all the staff for a perfect vacation.
