    Located near Samawati Springs Pool, Survival of the Fittest Fitness Center features the latest in fitness equipment including free weights, treadmills, ellipticals, bicycles and stair climbers. Lockers are available.

    Open from 6:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m., the facility is available to Resort Guests 14 and older at no additional charge. Guests 14 to17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A personal trainer is also available by appointment.

    Jogging Trail

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge features an approximate 0.16-mile jogging trail around the Uzima Pool area. Maps are available at the Resort Concierge.

    Bike Rentals

    Rent a traditional bicycle or a four-seat surrey at select Deluxe and Moderate Disney Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort. Pedal solo or with pals along winding paths, waterfront walkways and scenic trails designated for bicyclists.

    Community Hall

    Community Hall is located adjacent to the lobby at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village and includes a ping-pong table, foosball table, videogames, television, and ongoing activities such as arts and crafts.

    Hakuna Matata Playground

    Hakuna Matata Playground, a 24-hour playground next to Uzima pool where children are invited to climb, slide and have fun, overlooks the flamingo area and the savanna.

    This full-service spa and salon offers massage therapy, skin care and body treatments and features steam rooms for men and women, saunas and the latest in fitness equipment including free weights, treadmills, ellipticals, bicycles and stair climbers.

    Nice hotel

    I stayed here for a few day. It’s very nice. And you can see a lot of animals. It’s pretty expensive. But the lobby is pretty awesome and the people are very nice. The rooms are standard and the walls are thin.

    Different experience in Disney World Resort Usual Disney hospitability with different favor viewing balconies were great too watch animals from Rooms were spacious and comfortable Events in hotel locations were fun and convenient Overall positive experience with young grandchildren

    Long walk but worth it

    The lobby is lovely! For an animal enthusiast this resort is perfect for you! Your room has a view of animals and they are fairly active. Now, the downside to this massive resort is the rooms' layout. If you are unlucky with a room towards the end of the hall, you could easily walk 10 minutes. Luckily on the way is view of animals 😃

    Amazing and worth every penny.

    Bucket List Destination Checked Off the List! Worth every penny and time!!! The rooms were decent and very clean. The balcony overlooking the Sahara is amazing. I loved sitting and watching the animals eating just feet from our room. The pool is spacious, clean and warm. The hot tubs weren't clean which was a little disappointing but you are surrounded by nature so it's forgivable.

    An ok hotel

    My honest review of this hotel. It’s very nice but I notice the carpet in the halls leading to the rooms are dirty and disgusting. We stayed in the jambo house. Our room was nice but one of the bed lights was hanging and not working. We have a balcony room facing the pool. You can hear everything outside. They start cleaning the pool at 6am and I can hear the machines as if the door is open. Now talking about location. It’s not convenient to any parks. Although it says animal kingdom in the name it’s about a 10-15 min bus ride to the park. I’m used to staying at a hotel where we can just walk to the parks. Everywhere was decorated for Christmas except this hotel. Which is disappointing I thought it would be at least animal theme decor. So I would say nice to stay once and experience it but I wouldn’t stay again.
