  Disney - a carefully packaged money making machine.

  This was our first—and last—time visiting Disney. Unfortunately, this hotel just wasn’t worth the money. The one thing we really liked was its proximity to Epcot and how easy it was to travel between the parks. Other than that, we were disappointed. As other reviewers have mentioned, the resort was busy, crowded, and noisy. The rooms were extremely basic, especially considering the price. I kept hearing about the “Disney magic,” but honestly, we just didn’t experience it here. I’m still wondering what everyone else is talking about! We also found Disney to be unnecessarily complicated. Wristbands, reservations, meal plans—it felt like there was a system for everything. Maybe you need to visit once just to figure out how everything works and get into the rhythm of it all. For us, the experience felt more like an expensive, complicated vacation than a magical one. We’ll stick with Hershey Park, where you can have simple, mindless fun without spending what feels like the cost of a European vacation. Disney = Magical money grab.

  Great 10day stay

  We stayed at the beach club resort as part of our split stay 10 days at Disney, 7days at Clearwater. The beach club is a beautiful Disney resort, we had a room that slept 5 people with a view over the boardwalk and lake - which was a lovely view to wake up too. The rooms are lovely and clear and have a cute subtle Disney theme throughout. The only complaint I have is one one of our nights we had a fire alarm go off at 2am (which is obviously totally ok!) but there was absolutely no communication, no one came around to tell us it was safe to go back inside, or what was going on, the staff presence was zero. Our young daughter was really scared to go back in - I feel that Disney need to re - address it's protocol on this. However we had a great stay and would 100% return!

  I can't wrap my head around this property's high rating

  Based on the rating, we were so excited to stay here and boy did we regret it. We felt like we stayed at a regular hotel on the side of the interstate. We expected a deluxe resort to provide an experience that exceeded our previous stay at a Disney value resort, however, we found the opposite to be true. Throughout our stay, we rarely felt welcomed or valued by cast members, and the little touches that made our previous Disney vacation feel magical, such as warm interactions and thoughtful housekeeping, were absent. No one acknowledged you or cared that you were there. Checking in was a fiasco. They were 2 hours late getting our room ready and no one was apologetic regarding this inconvenience.   We also found the gift shop and arcade to be surpringly small and lacking compared to once again, the previous value resort we stayed in. While we appreciated the resort's location and pool, the overall atmosphere and guest experience did not justify the significantly higher price. We left feeling that our previous value resort delivered far more Disney magic and a much better overall value. We regret booking deluxe and may not again. Further, the resort perk extra magic hours need to be adjusted to what they were before covid. 30 minutes prior to the park opening isn't really a perk. That should be a full hour. We actually came on this trip immediately following a cruise and all we could keep saying was how much better we were treated by that company's staff, so we will probably never cruise Disney either. Overall, this entire trip did not reflect the Disney we are accustomed to. We saw a ton of trash on the ground in all of the parks, and this is not the usual there. I also saw a ton of cast members on their phones, disinterested in greeting or acknowledging anyone, and hiding in the bathrooms talking and playing on their phones. This is VERY unlike any previous Disney experience we've had. It was truly almost bizarre how bad it was. We did send this entire review to Disney customer service, hoping to maybe talk to someone about the experience so they could get specific details and try to improve the situation for future guests. We received an AI copy and pasted response. They couldn't even be bothered to address the fact that no one else could be bothered. My advice is if you want to splurge on deluxe, definitely skip this one. It really is not a deluxe resort.

  A quick Disney getaway

  Fantastic hotel with great service. We were greeted at the front desk by Emily N. She was very patient and knowledgeable about our check-in process. Emily guided us through the process with kindness and professionalism. The hotel was beautiful and our room was clean and well decorated. The pool was fantastic and the service was 10 out of 10. This hotel is a must.

  Beach Club review!!!

  Hotel Rooms, Service and the Staff are all 5 Stars. We stayed on the concierge 5th floor. Called the Stone Harbor Club and It was great !! Breakfast and small bites all day!!! The only complaint I have is petty but have to write about it. I find it insulting how they can charge u $8 for melted one small scoop of ice cream in a cup at Beaches and Cream!!!
