Couldn’t have been more happier with the service I received from a chef by the name of Irvin. I ordered the Shrimp skewer with rice and peas as well as a salad from Gizmo’s Bar. When I received my meal the rice was cold and the salad wasn’t the freshest. I went to ask the chef for a remake and was completely blown away by his professional positive attitude. He turned my dinner experience from a 6 to an 8 out of 10. He genuinely cared about leaving me with a positive guest experience! My night was made!

We stayed at Divi Little Bay in June/July and loved it. I was worried we picked the wrong resort because of the negative reviews, but not the case we had a great time. The staff was beyond phenomenal. Seriously, the best part of the resort. Huge shoutout to Neka, Jenmal, Lou, Orane, Kimane, Stephen, Yanquie, and Leroy — every one of them deserves praise. The grounds were clean, housekeeping kept our room spotless, and they were super personable. There was a sewer smell in front of the buildings some evenings, but walking around the back fixed it. Not a big deal. Food wasn’t anything special, but when you’re traveling with the President of the Chicken Nugget Club, that’s not a dealbreaker lol. The beach and water were incredible. I spent hours floating in the ocean (which I normally don’t do thanks to childhood Jaws trauma), and even watched the World Cup from the water while my husband watched from the bar. Only real annoyance: parents letting their rude kids sit at the bar and boss the staff around. Not the resort’s fault, and Lou handled it perfectly. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would go back. PS: It is a lot of walking so be prepared.

FAMILY ABROAD!
Divi Little Bay Beach Resort is our home away from home! We have been family members for over 20 years. We’ve seen so many different phases and transformations it has gone through. And today I have to say that we are becoming more and more pleased with the progress of ongoing renovations and results of the completed projects. I must say this past July and August we had to stay at Divi and a couple of other places. I’ll just say this… there is no place like home. The convenience of everything on the grounds and the relationships that we have built with so many people in all areas of employment there is such a joy and blessing. So much so that we visit have been visiting 2-3 times a year for the past 3-4 years. I most certainly cannot not close without commending the front desk workers. Ive seen them in all kinds of situations and they still keep their smiles and focus on the needs of the guests to the best of their abilities. Sandra and Eline are professional fire fighters. lol if there is a problem they are on it with a solution immediately. The concierge desk has such genuine people working it. Lynn, Hakeem, Julina , Randolph and Sophia don’t ever leave and Divi don’t ever lose them! And most assuredly the guys who work the beach. Richard, McKenzie, Omega, TJ, Shakur, Julian and the last 2 they hired while we were there this past July and August!!! When I say work the beach I am not exaggerating. I don’t care how hot that sun gets they are friendly, attentive and very patient. Even to guests who don’t respect them. (Unfortunately). Keep up the good work guys!!!! Donna and the female staff great work!!! Keep those smiles coming. In upper management I had the pleasure to sit with Anne-Marie and work on and out some problems with reservations. I was literally in dire straits. She was simply amazing. And we are ever so grateful!!! Thank you all my Divi family! We’ll see you again soon❤️🙏🏽❤️

A Celebration Trip that Didn't Disappoint
To celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary, my wife and I decided to visit Sint Maarten. This would be our first trip out of the country together and our first trip to the Caribbean. Our travel agent suggested several resorts on the island for our stay; however, Divi Little Bay Beach Resort was the most highly recommended and it checked all our "want/must have" boxes. Needless to say, our expectations were high. From the moment we arrived, we were meet by the most courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff one might imagine. Our suite was in the Oceans portion of the resort and was impeccably clean and inviting. The furnishings were all comfortable and seemingly new and the technology (tv's, wifi, etc.) all worked and was reliable. The environment was relaxing, quiet, and enjoyable. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee on the balcony looking out over the bay and the Caribbean Sea. We opted for an all-inclusive plan, and the food was just as delicious as advertised. We dined at several of the different restaurants on site and found each of them well staffed and attentive. As an example of how the staff went above and beyond; my wife struggles with heat from time to time, especially if there is no air moving. One evening we decided to have dinner at The Shack (Mexican) which is open air and unfortunately there was very little air moving that evening. Because of this, we decided to pick up something and eat in our room. As we were thanking the waiter and returning the menus, Martin (our waiters name) asked why we decided to leave. Upon learning of our predicament, Martin arranged for the neighboring restaurant (which was closed on that evening) to be opened so my wife and I could dine in air-conditioned comfort. He took our order, retrieved and served our food, and made our evening delightful. His act of kindness was greatly appreciated. I mentioned earlier that our expectations for Divi Little Bay Beach Resort were high. We were not disappointed and we certainly recommend them very highly!
