  Good but "Signature" All Inclusive Plan Lacking

  My family and I stayed here and opted for the "Signature" all inclusive plan. We didn't realize this particular plan didn't include an option to get anything to drink or eat near the beach (which is across a busy street); strange since they they call it a golf and "beach resort;" this was massively disappointing and I would not have booked my stay if I had known this. This part of the resort also hasn't fully committed to being an all inclusive, so there are hotel guests that are paying as they go and some that are on an all inclusive plan. To keep things sorted, they keep tabs for the all inclusive guests and have them sign "checks" at each bar or restaurant with an itemized list of what you consumed that you must close out once you are done - I found this to be annoying - I booked all inclusive not to deal with this. Our room was nice, comfortable and roomy but we were on the top floor of a 3 story walk up. Climbing several flights of stairs with luggage and children after a long day is not ideal so be careful when you book your stay. Also, not even a single bottle of water is provided in the room which is not a big deal but kind of annoying considering there aren't vending machines readily available and the spread out nature of the resort. Even the cheapest motels I've staying in give you at least a cheap bottle of water. As mentioned, the hotel is very spread out and relies on "shuttles" to take guests around the resort that aren't always available right away. The distances aren't terribly far so walking wouldn't be a huge deal if there were sidewalks but not all the roads in the resort have them, so you are either forced to walk in the road or traverse the landscaping which is not ideal with children when shuttles are delayed or not available. The resort seems to attract a much older crowd so it has a bit of a retirement home vibe to it, this can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for - don't go here for a party thats for sure. It all shuts down very early, 11 pm officially at most of the restaurants and bars, but by 10 you're going to be the only one there. Its about 2 miles from the strip where the newer hotels are so you either go to bed early, take a cab to the strip or go to the casino if you don't want to go to bed right away. Overall, our stay was very nice except for the drawbacks mentioned above. The staff was wonderful and the infinity pool area was wonderful, just make sure you know what you are getting.

  Relaxing

  Nice Clean Resort, Expensive all inclusive. Room Quality good. Some staff poor attitudes and on there phones when they should be attending to the customers that spend alot of money to be there. Shuttle service very slow. Sometimes have to call 2x for shuttle Sevice. Overall the stay was good and relaxing at the swim up bar or the beach. Nice restaurante. Nice off campus restaurant where you eat sitting in the ocean water while the sun set. Best part of the stay is not just where you are but who you with.

  Gorgeous beach,beautiful resort

  First time to Aruba!! Had a great week at the Divi suites from the food to the beach,bars and employee service...Jose's a funny guy at the swimup bar...Wonderful weather the Entire time and we took 2 excursions catamaran snorkeling "awesome" and Rented a jeep for a day "which I do Not recommend " but hey it was experience...the people at the concierge were very helpful when trying to save us money with booking things including massage...Be at the airport 3 hours early especially on weekend travel

  Nice place

  First time there and it was very nice. It's great to have the shuttles to get around. Rooms are nice and big. Infinity pool is really nice with the pool bar. Food was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

  Dated resort facility with mold issues

  We rated 2 stars to be nice… Upon check-in on April 26, we were assigned a room with very pronounced mold/musty smelling conditions. To the extent of gagging.. After conversations with the Manager on duty (took awhile to see her), we visited two other rooms in a different building, in being pretty much forced to settle on an available room with similar issues, but notably less severe. These impacted buildings are 2 story, 4 unit buildings, with awkward spiral staircases between floors. Larger buildings with more units have normal staircases. Upon polling other guests, not all buildings/rooms seem to have the mold and musty issues, evidently. One can see in the reviews (that we originally missed), that many complaints of similar room issues date back to 2023, minimally. Time and humid climates seem to have caught up with ventilation systems that are not being maintained properly, or possibly black mold in the walls. The overall amenities were okay, that included a 9 hole golf course in fair to good condition at the time. The tennis courts were dirty in areas and not blown of debris. The pools were clean The food quality amongst many of the networked resorts included in the “Mega” all-inclusive plan were very hit and miss with food quality, and service to varying degrees. I suggest that you DYOR and review other options on the island.
