  amazing time

  This vacation was the best! Edwin included me in all the kids games and made me feel comfortable. he taught me zumba dancing also! I hope when we come back Edwin will still be here.

  Family experience

  Our time here with a large group of family and friends has been nothing short of amazing. Check-in was incredibly quick, even though we arrived late, and room service was always available whenever we needed it. The smaller size of the resort made it especially enjoyable for our older kids to roam freely, which made us feel incredibly comfortable as parents. From the moment we arrived, we were always greeted with a friendly hello, and every staff member was more than willing to help. Jediael was a phenomenal bartender — always promoting fun with free shots and creating new drinks for me to try. He absolutely nailed it every time. Jorge and Ruben made sure our drinks were always topped up, both at the pool and at our swim-out room — truly amazing service. We had zero complaints about the food. The kids always had full bellies, and so did the adults. The dinner restaurants were fantastic and consistently delicious. The kids used the slide daily, and Yanna was incredible with them — always friendly, attentive, and making sure they were okay. When my son left items behind, she always found me to return them, which meant so much. Daily pool entertainment with Edwin kept both kids and adults engaged. He even brought something he used to play with as a child to share with our kids, and they had an absolute blast. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

  All inclusive vacation for a family of 15

  We booked as preferred guests which allowed us to check in, in a separate area of the hotel. It was the quickest and smoothest check in I’ve ever had at any hotel. There are no wrist bands which is nice, wearing them for a full week at an all inclusive resort can be irritating. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Marco at the mixology bar makes some very good drinks- the Mexican mule (Moscow mule) is absolutely delicious. Jorge and Reuben served us happily in our seats all week by the pool, and Jediael at the pool bar was amazing as well. He was happy to serve us and joke with us. Edwin was especially accommodating! He would actively seek out our family to ensure we knew of all the activities he was offering each day. He engaged well with the children, and sat and chatted with us and was helping our family to learn a little bit of Spanish each day. I cannot say enough how amazing all of the staff here are. All of the lobby staff were so helpful when my AirPods went missing and they spent upwards of three hours helping me to search for them. They showed genuine care and were so patient. I found there to always be a large selection of food to choose from and I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. The resort itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the showers are very large and there is no shortage of beds. The kids especially loved the water slides and the arcade. The pools and beaches are beautiful. We would happily return!

  A week well spent

  A beautiful week. Check in was quick and smooth Jesus greeted us and helped us check in. We arrived late but two ladies still came to set our pull out couch up just after midnight for the boys. Marco helped us get settled into our rooms and made sure to let us know he was there for anything we needed. We had a swim up room which was nice, on the main pool side (music starts early around 8 so if you like to sleep in you might want to be on the opposite side.) I requested an extra bed and they were quick to bring it and set it up for us. The resort is on the small side compared to where we’ve been before but it’s a nice change! No getting lost or wandering for miles and miles. It feels safe and the older kids were able to wonder freely without us worrying. There is an arcade that they really enjoyed. Staff work very hard to keep this place looking good. When walking around you will find multiple staff members working to keep things looking nice, all with smiles on their faces. Everyone is so kind, always greets you as you pass with a good morning or hello. Marco at the Mixology bar in the lobby is fantastic and he makes a mean Mexican Mule. Try this if you haven’t!! We spent a majority of our days at the main pool where there is entertainment throughout the day. Stretching, dancing, sport activities all by a wonderful entertainment crew. While they are all fabulous, Edwin was especially amazing including with the 7 children we had with us. He spent time talking to us, teaching us a little Spanish and really engaging with the kids keeping them busy and having fun. Truly a wonderful member of the team here, say hi to him, join the activities you won’t be disappointed! Our days spent sitting by the pool were met with friendly service from Jorge and Ruben always checking in on our drinks and delivering them to our seats and even our swim out pool! That’s service! Jediael who was our pool bar tender most days will make you any drink you can think of, but watch out for his promotion: free tequila shots all day 😂 try the banana milkshake with vodka and banana liqueur that he makes, truly delicious. Don’t forget until the last day like I did to wander to the far right of the beach, about 5 minutes walk to the barracuda bar which is very quiet, you probably won’t have to wait for a drink since most people miss or forget about it! There is swings all the way around the bar and an beautiful view of the ocean. The beach isn’t the nicest you’ll see, but it’s definitely safe. No crazy waves or undertow. If you want something a little more crystal clear venture into Puerto Aventuras, and there’s a path behind the hospital to take you to the public beach. Food, the main buffet was good for breakfast and lunch but the one night we did dinner there the selection wasn’t really fantastic. However, Gohan, sea side grill and portifino were all EXCELLENT. The beef in red wine sauce at portifino was incredible, cut like butter, so delicious. I recommend using the fancier restaurants for dinner and if you’re not super picky you’ll enjoy all of them. Room service almost all day and night was a hit with the kids if they wanted to hangout in the room after a long day of sun or for a late night snack. Easy to order and the food was all decent. Sadly, today we had to check out but Adriana made that process very quick and easy. Overall, this resort is great, the staff are all wonderful and friendly. If you’re looking for luxury this may not be the place for you but if you’re a laid back traveller that just enjoys being away from home and having a good time, relaxing and soaking up the sun this is the place for you.
