    a disappointing experience

    we paid a lot for our room. Overall experience was very disappointing. Pool, restaurant and lobby areas were busy and noisy. a big number of children. half of the seven advertised restaurants were closed for dinner each night we were there and the food was inconsistent and uninspiring the beach area consists of a man-made, enclosed lagoon, and the surrounding area within walking distance had very little to offer other than a fun to watch dolphin sanctuary

    Stay at Dreams Aventuras

    Loved the dreams experience - best part was the amazing staff - they are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had a great time for our family trip. We were able to snorkel at the neighbouring hotel, and enjoyed many nice meals together. Hotel is very clean, and a nice location in the gated community meant it was easy to leave the resort into town and always felt safe

    Don’t trust the negative comments. Small feel resort with amazing service.

    Dreams Adventuras has a small resort vibe. Staff want to get to know you and meet every expectation. Antonio at the Portofino restaurant was our favourite - he even told us that if we wanted some meat etc that wasn’t on the menu, to let him know a day or two in advance and he would work with the chef to bring it in. He was happy to chat with us about his family and life and inquired about ours (and remembered when we came back). He made our meals at the Italian restaurant amazing and we requested him to serve us each time we went back. I would highly recommend the preferred club upgrade. Eating off a menu and/or by request each meal has made the preferred club cost worthwhile. I have celiac and have never felt unsure about the food provided to me. They always verify again as they bring it that the dish is gluten free. They have many more options than listed on the menu - just ask - whether it’s gf toast, pasta or anything else. They haven’t told me they don’t have something yet. If you love a “small town feel” - this resort is for you.

    Do not hesitate to stay here

    Great stay,staff,room, bars,restaurants,surrounding area, I have no idea what some guests are complaining about! I don’t believe you would be disappointed.

    Dont do it

    Just dont do it, book somewhere else if you love to eat, if you want a beach with waves and good drinks, riviera maya is a beautiful place and i have bin many times but i would never go back to this hotel.
