Very nice hotel, slight room for improvement
Everything really was as you’d expect from a resort such as this. Friendly staff, decent food, clean rooms etc. A star was knocked off for a couple of individual items. 1 - there was 1 member of staff at the breakfast buffet who was rude to us because we pro actively started creating a table set up that suited us, we required 2 high chairs and chairs for 4 adults.. but he came over clearly angry that we didn’t wait for him to do it, took over and because of the language barrier didn’t set it up how we needed, so we stil changed it afterwards. He clearly ranted about us in Greek to another waiter. Not really what we want to listen to at breakfast.. sometimes just let us sort ourselves out. 2 - seems disappointing that any and all entertainment stops from about 11pm. It would be nice for some live music in the reception bar that’s goes on later. 3 - pool side bar snacks sit in a self service heated glass container all day.. it all goes stale and dry after an hour so not great. However we would definitely come back here, the rest of the staff were really helpful and pleasant, especially towards our babies.

Lovely stay
Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Extremely friendly staff. Very clean hotel There is a heated pool by the beachfront which was perfect. This is a fantastic addition. Food in buffet was very good. Quite similar each night but still something to choose from. Deserts were well presented and tasty. What made this hotel truly great for us was the wonderful, superb kids club staff. Emi and her team are exceptional and deserve every credit for what they do. Not only are they super good at their job, talented and exceptionally friendly, they made huge efforts with kids of all ages. Emi, Diane, Carlotta and the young gentleman… you are all super 👌😊. It was a pleasure meeting you. The little town of Gouvia is not up to much but there is s bus stop nearby for trips into Corfu old town, Dassia and Ipsos. Rooms at the hotel are soundproof. Be prepared for wasps and mosquitos if travelling Sept and Oct. Weather can also be hit and miss. If i could suggest one thing it would be a better evening entertainment programme. The musical and greek night were great but karaoke does not really fit into the style of this hotel. Preferred club - really do not see the point in this addition and if i would have paid the premium i would have been disappointed. Close proximity to airport which is ideal if travelling with young children. Overall a lovely hotel and stay.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and excellent food.
What a lovely hotel! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, we weren't rushed, the check in process was very relaxed, we were given cold flannels and prosecco whilst sitting in the foyer and the staff did it all for us, including taking our cases on a golf cart to our Preferred Club accommodation. The staff couldn't do enough for us and this lasted for the whole week of our stay. We were lucky enough to afford to stay in the Preferred Club, which gave access to private heated pools, private sunbathing area and our own private lounge with help yourself bar area which included named drinks along with snacks. On arrival in our room we received a bottle of wine, beach bag and re-useable drinks bottle which you can fill from the water filter machines round the site. The room was very comfortable and spacious, large comfy bed and soft pillows. The rooms were cleaned daily with towels changed and extra toilet rolls provided along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, the only slight downside was the soap bar next to the sink in a soap dish, which became wet and messy, a hand wash would probably have been better but this was a minor niggle. Also the fact that there weren't many English channels on the TV, mainly BBC news all day. Bath robes, slippers and hair dryer all provided. We were on the top floor of the Preferred Club building and the views were amazing, saw an amazing sunrise. There are three other pools around the site, one near the beach which was also heated and another larger pool with swim up bar and also an adult only pool above near the Italian Restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. There are several restaurants on site, including the main buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the food in here was very nice although the pasta dishes could be a bit hotter even though they are under a heat lamp, the choice of food was good and we had several meals in here. The waiting staff bring drinks to your table. There are several themed a la carte restaurants on site, we ate in the Greek, Italian and Seaside Grill, the meals are excellent with large portion sizes and drinks refilled frequently, there are around 4/5 choices for each course. You have to book these in advance and although there is an app, we only managed to get a table once using this, so it was easier to book at the specific desk in the reception area. The staff in all the restaurants were very friendly and attentive. The evening entertainment was okay, we saw a greek singer near the Seaside Grill one evening, a greek dance group at the main theatre, which is where the children's entertainment is also based and a female vocal duo one evening at Sunset Reef. The only thing they don't have is an indoor entertainment area for if the weather is bad, alot of people were playing cards in the bar/reception area. We took a boat trip with Spiros at the end of the Jetty, this was an enjoyable 4 hour cruise where you can swim by the caves. Spiros is a lovely larger than life character who is very knowledgeable. We also took the No. 7 Bus into Corfu Old Town, this took about 20-25 minutes and was only a few euros each, easy to catch just a short walk from the hotel, buses every 20 minutes - ask at reception for where to catch the bus. We did the Jet2 Grand Island Tour, this was an 8 hour guided day trip to see various parts of the island, including Mouse Island, Achilleion Palace and a local Kumquat Factory, this was a long day but very interesting with plenty of stops to take photographs and a late lunch stop. We used the Spa twice while we were here for a couples massage, the staff are very friendly, professional and made us feel relaxed and not rushed after our treatment, definitely worth a visit. We got bitten by a few mosquitos and they do have a lot of wasps which you have to tolerate so definitely bring the repellent! All in all, Dreams is an excellent hotel in a beautiful setting, would definitely return.

A superb experience at Dreams Corfu.
Exceptionally friendly and courteous staff throughout the resort. A special mention to Jim, Julie Ann (club pool area) and Eleftherea (club lounge) for being so helpful and pleasant. A lovely setting and very comfortable room with many options for sunbeds around the pools and on the beach. Would definitely recommend a stay here with a family or as a couple.
