Avoid this hotel. The food is terrible, and the property is very old and poorly maintained. The staff are not bad, but they can’t do much with the conditions they’re given. The beach bar had no electricity or beer, the rooms were dirty, and the elevators were extremely old and dirty. Overall, it was a terrible experience. You even have to wake up at 6:30 a.m. just to reserve beach chairs.

Awful food, outdated quarters. Main walkway in hotel goes straight through sewage area so you walk through stench everyday??

I was provided with a room right at the kids pool, the noise was atrocious all day. My room had strong mildew smell, I was provided a dehumidifier, which was extremely noisy and didn't improve the smell. Noise coming from the outside and inside, it was horrible experience. I was offered another room with similar issues, which I didn't take. The hotel staff are really, really helpful and nice. Very professional.

We loved staying at Dreams Resorts. The service was so wonderful. We loved our room, it was beautiful. I would have to say that the pool and beach were just amazing. It was quiet and the atmosphere was great!

Great location, but you may go hungry
Nice location. Food options are terrible! Long waits. Only 1 restaurant and 1 buffet a night. Paid a lot of money to wait hours for a table, or you have to buy a bottle of wine to get a table. It was actually suggested that we leave our children to go to Secrets for dinner. I have stayed at several Dreams resorts, and have NEVER had this issue. It is SO disappointing! We didn't have this issue when we paid far less to stay at Sunscape. Way to go Hyatt! I'm so happy that you ruined a really good place. Bravo!!
