  Not so good

  Unfortunately, our stay at Dreams Curaçao was very mixed. While there were some positives, there were also several issues that significantly affected our experience. Check-in and check-out: Both were frustrating, especially check-in. We were told we could check in at 3:00 PM, but we ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes for our room. The process felt very disorganized and took far too long. There were, however, several employees who truly stood out and provided excellent service. Hugo, Elana, Norelhy, and Lesly were wonderful and consistently made an effort to be helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, other employees were frequently standing around chatting with each other rather than assisting guests, which was disappointing. Food and drinks: The food was actually very good and one of the highlights of our stay. However, there was a significant problem with flies constantly landing on the food, which was very unappealing and raised concerns about food sanitation. The bar service was also disappointing. Drink options were limited, and there was only one type of beer available. Mosquitoes: The mosquito problem throughout the resort was terrible. Anytime we sat outside, we had to cover ourselves in bug spray or we would get eaten alive. This made it difficult to comfortably enjoy the beautiful outdoor areas. Room: Unfortunately, our room had several maintenance issues. The air conditioning worked intermittently. We reported it, but it was never fixed. The hot water in the shower was also intermittent. We reported this issue twice, but it was never resolved. It appeared to be an issue specifically with the shower because the hot water at the sink worked consistently. There were also some things in the room that clearly needed attention. The chair was severely worn, the lampshade had mold on it, and the sink was leaking black water onto the towels underneath it. Pool and beach: The beach area itself was beautiful, but the chair situation was frustrating. Guests would leave towels on chairs and then disappear, making it impossible to tell whether the chairs were actually being used. The pool water was also cloudy, which made me reluctant to get in. Birds were another issue around the outdoor dining areas. They constantly flew in and attempted to get food, which made eating outside less enjoyable. Overall, parts of the resort are beautiful and the food was very good, but there were too many maintenance, cleanliness, service, and pest-related issues for us to feel that the experience lived up to what we expected from a Dreams resort. With better attention to maintenance, guest service, pest control, and cleanliness, this property could be a much better experience.

  Blue Heaven on Earth

  This was a beautiful resort! I loved it so much. And I have been to the Caribbean many times. However, I upgraded to the preferred club with ocean view on 4th floor. It was worth it!!! We ordered room service (breakfast) and enjoyed a lovely breakfast on our balcony while staring at the most beautiful, blue ocean. It was like heaven! I noticed the locals were much kinder than other islands. Everyone was quite hospitable. We paid a lot to snorkel on Klein island which took 2 hours to arrive. However, the last day, we realized we could use complimentary snorkeling gear, and the fish we saw at the resort were much more beautiful! We even saw an octopus. Wasn’t impressed with bungalows. They aren’t actually on a beach. They sit overlooking the water but on a rocky cliff. Preferred club was good enough! Food was decent. Similar to a cruise. If you aren’t fancy pants, you’ll love it too.

  Don’t go there and don’t stay there!

  Food selection is bad and tasted terrible. Room service is so so, customer service is average. The beach is close to none and some employees were unprofessional and rude to customers. We stayed here for eight days and had to rent a car so we could go else where to eat, which Curaçao has a lot of great restaurants, except here at this resort.

  Don't go! This place is disgusting

  This resort is nasty and dated. The food is horrible, the customer service waa non existent. Rooms had no AC, I was given a fan. The bathroom tub were peeling, shower curtain in tub disgusting, bathroom ceiling falling down. Food choices terrible. The only good thing waa the entertainment. Elsiha at the front desk is so nasty and doesn't deserve to be in customer service.

  The worst resort in Curazao

  The worst resort. Do not book. Lack fo staff. Unfriendly. Very limited options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Slow help. Room service does not exist. Limited liquor options.
