  Nice location & views, Entertainment lacks

  Very nice beach & pool areas. Wonderful view from floor 5. Casino is nice. Food was average. Entertainment was almost non-existent. Pool bar closed at 5:00, no afternoon or evening entertainment at pool or beach, just a radio playing music. The little entertainment they did have was annoying. I was hoping for live music that was enjoyable and/or danceable. No waiters/waitresses on beach or at pool as advertised. Bartenders were quick and delightful though. Overall bored with venue.

  Don't expect much!

  I would not recommend this hotel. It was OK, but not worth the price we paid. Food was monotonous, not a lot to choose from, however, you won't go hungry. No air conditioning in the rooms, but they did have good fans, which seemed to do the job. Only in the rooms to sleep and use washroom. Main floor facilities were disgusting. Beach was very small, but that was OK, we spent our time at the pool. Lost a fit bit while I was there, someone found it and was wearing it, why would you not turn it in? Anyway, I would return to Curacao, but Not this resort. It wasn't as bad as some reviews made it out to be. Staff were OK, not overly friendly, but friendly enough.

  A dreamy escape to paradise!

  Just got back from Dreams Il Mare in Curaçao and wow…what a dreamy little sanctuary. We stayed in the private bungalows and absolutely loved them! Our butlers were awesome and made our stay even better. The beach was honestly the star of the show with crystal-clear calm water, soft sand, and sunsets that look straight out of a postcard. 🌅 Food? Delicious. Drinks? So good. And the bartenders? Were the highlight - fun, friendly, and seriously talented. Il Mare is definitely on the quieter, more serene side with just one pool, one bar, and one restaurant but you get full access to Dreams and Zoetry, so it never feels limiting. 🍹 This was a perfect place for us to escape to for our anniversary. They did a great job of helping us celebrate and making us feel special. 🩵 If you’re craving a true escape to paradise where you can slow down, reconnect, and totally recharge, Il Mare absolutely delivers.😌 Pro-tip: ladies you are not allowed to wear bikinis with see through coverups inside the restaurant. That is a rule some waiters and waitresses abide by while others do not. Just keep that in mind. It’s a very strange rule for a resort that only has one restaurant that’s right next to the pool. 😏

  Dreams can also be a Nightmare

  The Beach is extremely small and rocky. Only “Island” alcohol, no Premium alcohol. Buffet SUCKS, unless you’re into Flies & Black Birds landing on the food at the buffet and on your plate. Buffet staff is unresponsive. The Italian restaurant is the best food at the resort, but they were closed 4 of the 7 days I was there. Very disappointing.

  Would NOT recommend.

  Food, hospitality, and rooms need major improvements. I would never come back to this resort and I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. It's horrible. Though small, the beach area was nice. The pool was great.
