Less than desirable resort. The food choice was limited and often times cold. Also, there was no non-motorized water sports and the resort activities were also limited (only 2-3 per day)

After reading awful reviews, I was anxious about the resort. The rooms definitely need to be updated but they were clean, the bed was comfortable and staff was friendly and provided great service. We never had trouble finding a chair at the pool or beach. Food was hit or miss, one night I had a great steak, another night I had one so tough, I couldn’t even cut it. Typically, two restaurants and the buffet were open for dinner while the other restaurants were closed. Limited food menu with only one night offering a daily special. Buffet was ok but if you step away from your table for a second, you are pretty much guaranteed that birds will be sitting on your plate when you get back. The pool was clean, we enjoyed water aerobics every morning. There’s one server at the pool for drinks so he really had to hustle. It’s just under an hour walk to Willemstad or a 5 minute cab ride for $20 each way. There’s a walking path as well just outside of the hotel that is paved and safe to walk. It’s about 3 miles round trip. We walked a lot and always felt safe. The people on the island are very friendly. I would rate this 2 1/2 to 3 stars

Poor Experience
Do not waste your time booking at this hotel. The Rooms And bathrooms need to be renovated, The food options At the buffet are not good And there are only two restaurants on the resort. The price Of staying at this resort does not match the service that you will receive.

Jan 19, 2026Disappointing to say the least
This was the most disappointing Dreams I have ever been to. Period. Food was mediocre at best, IF you could get in to a restaurant that was not closed or too busy to take the people that were there at the resort, if you call it a resort. Rooms were so outdated; no hot water until bugged forever; food was mediocre. Buffet was the only choice in my view and that was a stretch. Beach was never cleaned so straws and cups everywhere, people did not seem to be happy to work there. Some smiles; most I felt like I was a bother. Preferred club, nicer greetings from the personnel there, however preferred is a stretch of imagination when you need to make your own drinks! Lol! Virtually no entertainment team so no engagement of guests. The inly thing enjoyable was my daughter, weather and snorkeling. Such a shame as Curcao is a beautiful island. I do not recommend this resort at all.
