Juan Carlos (pool server) was wonderful, just like everyone at the resort!!!
I can honestly say we had one of the best costumer service and felt so special everyday. Juan Carlos always treated us with a smile and attended us with anything we needed at the pool. The food was fabulous, it was hard to decide which place to dine in because they are had some delicious dishes in each restaurant, from ceviche, guacamole with octopus, tacos, ribs, salmon, chilaquiles, quesadillas, flan, ice cream and unlimited buffet options. The room was wonderful, very comfy bed and sheets, beautiful view of the ocean, clean bath, and amazing room service. Oh the activity staff were so nice and fun! Monica and the guys kept us busy which several activities from black Jack, oil painting, Zumba, and volleyball. This trip was for our honeymoon after traveling around to other cities so it was the perfect last stop. We left so relaxed and happy. We love the resort, the staff, the delicious food and Mazatlan!

Great family AND couples experience!
First time all-inclusive family stay for us, aside from cruises. We will no longer cruise! My family of 13 had 5 rooms for about 1 week. 10 adults, 3 children. Every room had an amazing view. Check in was slightly messy, but mostly because WE are spoiled and assume too many places speak English. From the beginning, we made it work. The staff is very accommodating. Being told "no" isn't rude... they were never rude. I think they need a better system for resort credits and information sharing, but I assure you we ate and drank our money's worth! The activities were fun and silly, the night events were entertaining, the food and drink were 98% on point and we were never bored. Anything we needed adjusted was handled as best as possible. My 8 year old son, who doesn't speak Spanish, wanted to stay with the Kids Club every day. Shout out to Fabiola, Gaby, Majo, Carely, they are amazing and even came and found us before we left. We had great service from Juan and Lucio at World Cafe, Alberto at El Patio, Ernesto at Oceana, and bartenders Erik and at Barracudda (also the best ceviche I've ever had!). The MOST amazing poolside service from Hector and Marcos!! Teo is an incredible pool host and Urisula was so accommodating. Karla at the spa took great care of us! Juan was our gracious concierge and Juan the Adventure Club activities guide was hilarious. Room service and maintenance were also great. There were so many helpful people and I know I'm missing names. We LOVED it and absolutely didn't have an issue with any little hiccups that occurred. Go there. It's reasonable, beautiful and new.

Delightful Experience
I was able to visit Dreams Estrella del Mar on my way back to El Salvador. This was my first time visiting this hotel, and I understand it has only been open for about 6 months so everything is fresh and clean. The personnel make this place. Arron did a great job for us, and Gabriela took us under her wing and got us oriented around the sprawling property. At the Oceania restaurant Julio and Manuel steered us towards the delicious tacos gobernador and provided us with a ceviche sampler. After lunch we went next door to the ice cream shoppe where Cinthya guided us through all the flavors she had available. Eventually we all settled on the frozen yogurt, and it turned out to be so good that we all went back for refills. My time there was too short, and I want to go back, spend a few more days, and get the chance to try out a few of the other restaurants. Looking forward to it.

Very disappointing experience. Very boring hotel, they lied with the “all inclusive” and staff were very rude.
Very disappointing experience. Front desk staff were very rude, they seemed mad all the time. The “sports bar” is used as a Music Lounge also but there is no music and staff were rude and not helpful at all. When we arrive they told us that alcoholic beverages were included 24 hrs by room service but with food. At 1:00 am room service staff told us in a very impolite tone that it was not allowed to give us alcoholic beverages. We asked them to sell us but they told us that it wasn’t possible. With some exceptions like Josué and Enrique from pool area and Karla from the Spa I would rate staff attitude as not acceptable. Hotel is nice but they need to be more honest about what they are offering and they urgently need to train their staff in order to give a good customer service.

Great family resort!
Dreams Estrella Del Mar is a beautiful resort! The pools and water slides are perfect for families with kids of all ages. This was our second trip. We were here last May. The staff is very helpful and fun. We had a blast doing water aerobics with Joel and Monica. They both made us feel like family and kept us laughing! Our poolside waiter, Marcos was friendly and on top of it with the drinks. The restaurants have good food but I would brush up on your Spanish if you have any food allergies. They were very accommodating regarding my gluten allergy but there was a bit of a language barrier if you had questions about anything outside of the normal ordering protocol. We really enjoy this resort and plan to return with our kids and grandkids!
