Another Wonderful Stay - We Will Be back.
Food incredible. Diego and his Himitsu team treated us like royalty. Portofino, El Patio and Oceana food and service were outstanding (thanks to Aldo, Jesus). Rendezvous bar provided excellent service. Our housekeeper, Orelia was awesome. The hotel is kept beautifully clean. Beach is wonderful - nice to have a lifeguard on duty. Entertainment, particularly the dance group, was great.

Another Awesome Trip to Dreams Huatulco
We have been here many times and always enjoy it. We had a trip with family and all three rooms were kept up and very clean. We like this resort because of the of the close proximity of the pools to the beach. Easy to do both! The staff were very friendly throughout the resort and the poolside/beach service was excellent as usual. Special thanks to Gadiel for always making sure we were looked after! We'll be back.

Dec 08, 2025Pay a little more and go to Secrets
Our experience was overall okay. We were mostly disappointed about not being to try the different restaurants for dinner. The Italian one was closed two days in a row, and then it was the seafood restaurant that was closed. Really irregular schedules; make sure you ask about that the day you arrive, so you can plan accordingly. One day, we found ourselves with no choice but to go to the Mexican restaurant, which was truly AWFUL. Most nights we ate at the Asian restaurant, which, thankfully, was delicious. Otherwise, I would be leaving fewer stars here. Noel, Giovanni, Antonio, and a few others (can't recall more names) were extremely attentive and pleasant. The service of the waiters at the pools was also excellent, even if they did take a while to bring back drinks for so many people. Our opinion is that it's worth it to pay a little more and stay at Secrets, Dreams' sister hotel in Huatulco, if you don't have kids with you. Secrets is always a great choice, especially if you're going for the gastronomy.
