  Exceptional Dreams Jade Resort & Spa stay

  An Absolutely Amazing Family Stay – Highly Recommended! We stayed at Dreams Jade Resort in Puerto Morelos as a family of seven for 10 days, staying in a Preferred Club Lounge Suites, and our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, providing everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The level of service throughout the resort was exceptional, and the guest services team went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were taken care of. We would particularly like to give a huge shout-out to Antonio and also Miguel for the exceptional care, attention to detail, and outstanding service throughout our stay. The personal touches and genuine care made such a difference to our experience, and we are incredibly grateful for everything that was done for us. Antonio’s warm smile & greeting every morning started the day off - an absolute credit to the hotel. We would also like to give special recognition to the fantastic activities team, especially Saula & David, and the rest of the team. They were brilliant keeping us all entertained with a wonderful range of activities and games. Their enthusiasm, friendliness, and genuine effort to make sure everyone was having fun made our holiday that little bit more special. They created some fantastic memories for our family, and we cannot thank them enough. One of the best entertainment teams we’ve across as a family that travels often! Overall, we had a truly wonderful stay. From the excellent accommodation to the outstanding service and fantastic entertainment, the resort delivered on every level. It is the people who work here who really make the difference, and the team should be incredibly proud of the experience they provide. Thank you to everyone at Dreams Jade Resort for such a memorable family holiday. We would absolutely recommend this resort to other families and would love to return!

  It was okay.

  Overall, we had a good stay at Dreams Jade, but there were a few areas where the experience could have been better. The resort has a beautiful atmosphere, welcoming staff, a great buffet, and an amazing spa experience. However, the rooms and housekeeping were disappointing, with maintenance issues, inconsistent water temperature, and cleaning that lacked attention to detail. Room service was also very slow, and the concierge’s persistent membership sales pitches became frustrating. We booked non-preferred, and personally, I didn’t feel the upgrade offered enough additional value for the price. Construction noise was noticeable, and the beach had significant seaweed and an unpleasant smell during our visit, although the resort made daily efforts to clean it. On the positive side, the main pool had a fun atmosphere, the buffet offered plenty of variety, and the 80-minute massage with aqua therapy was absolutely worth it. For excursions, I highly recommend Xoximilco for a fun cultural night out and Isla Mujeres for beautiful, crystal-clear water. Ultimately, Dreams Jade has plenty of potential, and we still enjoyed our vacation. With better housekeeping, room maintenance, and service efficiency, the overall experience could be significantly better.

  Dreams Jade, great experience

  Great resort and great service. We will be going back. The drinks were great , the service was great, and the room was beautiful. Loved the entertainment and the excursions were seamless. If you want to just sit back and relax this is your place.

  Nice resort with great service!

  We had a very nice 5 night stay at Dreams Jade. The resort itself is nice. The rooms are large and clean. We stayed in Building 4, which was across from a building currently being renovated. We saw workers during the day, but there wasn’t any noise or anything that interrupted our stay. We had two adjacent rooms that connected, and it was a great way for our family of four to spend 5 days. One room had a king size bed, and the other had two doubles. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. We had one issue with the AC one day but it was resolved very quickly. Food throughout the resort was tasty, with highlights being the Teppanyaki at Spice, the Asian restaurant (chef Luis was funny and entertaining), and everything we had at Tamarindo, the Mexican restaurant was great. Try the pumpkin cream soup. The Italian restaurant was pretty average, but we went to Italy this summer so we probably had too high expectations. The one challenge for food was the buffet. We found ourselves looking for a wider variety of options. We appreciated the fact that there were so many “made to order” options for meats, omelettes, etc., but they needed more people preparing those foods as there were always longer lines. If you have to stand there 15+ minutes, why not just go to a sit-down restaurant? The star of the week for us was the pool and the pool bar. Our server, Alejandra, took amazing care of us all week. I found that there was a particular guava margarita that I liked at the Mexican restaurant, and asked if she could find the mix for it at the pool. She did it and I drank guava margaritas all week! They were amazing. The beach was not really in a usable shape. There was a ton of sargassum (seaweed), but this is just what happens this time of year, and the resort tried hard to keep it usable. It was a losing battle, but it wasn’t the resort’s fault. The pool closest to the resort had a stronger smell of the ocean, but we stayed mainly by the other pool and it was fine. One day our son was moving around the pool faster than he should have and slipped and fell, bumped his head. The resort workers were so attentive and jumped into action immediately. He was just fine, but I appreciated how seriously they took the issue. Entertainment options were good every night. They made sure there was something fun going on all the time. We were down here on a special package that required a vacation ownership sales presentation, which isn’t normally a big deal. However, we didn’t know until we arrived that we would have to drive to a different resort to attend the presentation. That added an hour to the time we were away for the presentation, which was supposed to be 2 hours. It actually took 4 hours with the driving and the presentation ran long. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely visit other Dreams properties. We are not the type of people who do the same thing over and over again, but if we were, I think we’d go back here.

  Poor management planning and horrible guest services

  We went to the Dreams Jade resort for a wedding. The service at the hotel is terrible, but it is not on the servers. It is truly a management issue. They don't have a reservation system. They tell you to use the app, it does NOT WORK. You have to leave whatever you are doing during the day and hope to get on the list for a restaurant that evening. You can not plan anything in advance. Tonight.... the resort is full and the main buffet is closed as well as three other restaurants. The resort's answer is to serve tacos in the lobby. We are hear for a wedding and the buffet at the wedding ran out of food before it got to our table. We had to sit and wait and when they added food was overcooked and not edible. Do not come here. They just don't care about their guests. Oh..... the beaches, covered in seaweed and the smell is unbelievable. Oh, the we are sitting outside for dinner and they just fogged the courtyard next to us for the bugs. We are all covered in bites!
