    Beautiful Seaside Resort

Beautiful resort on the seaside between San Juan Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is great especially Elsa at the main pool. Elsa gave excellent personal service. Nice job Elsa! The restaurants offer nice menus but we did find the service there quite slow. We enjoyed our stay overall. Recommend!

    Dissapointed

Overall, the resort is average but fell short of a 5 star. There was also construction going on the entire week we were there outside of our room, in the hallways, on our balcony, around the adults only pool, and the swim-up bar to the adults only pool was still closed from delayed renovation. We were not made aware of any construction prior to our stay. Some things are outdated, like the cups used throughout the bars around the resort and old cushions for the pool chairs. Pool towels weren't put out until 8-8:30am so we'd have to take towels when leaving for the next morning to avoid sitting on dewy gross cushions in the morning before towels were put out. The food was just OK and on the weekend, there'd be incredibly long waits to get a table. The staff was all very wonderful and we made the most of our stay, but we had to make some pivots in our plans with all of the ridiculous and unexpected construction going on.

    Ok nothing more nothing less

The resort is nice but the quality is not what I expected for that price. The quality of food was just alright, nothing special, just plain. The overall experience besides that was good, but they were performing construction during my stay which created loud noise, and a reduction of activities.

    Fun Yet Relaxing Resort

The ride from airport to Dreams took about 40 minutes. Our check in at the resort was fast, we were in our room in just 10 minutes. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable bed, sofa, table, chair, a safe, 3 closets, extra blanket/sheets/pillows, a fridge stocked with bottled water, sodas, and beer, coffee maker, a safe, a big balcony and a partial ocean view. We saw the sunrise every morning, and it was fabulous! Shout out to Ozi at registration, Josue at Bellhop, and our maids Margarita, Carmen and Yareli. They all took great care of us. The bathroom was beautiful and had a huge shower head, dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, a vanity mirror, weight scale, hair dryer, steamer, sewing kit, vanity kit, and incense. By the night stand was an electronic pad with information about the resort activities, menus at the restaurants, etc. We ate a lot of good food during the week as the resort has a variety of restaurants: “Oceana” seafood, “Portofino” Italian, “Boudreaux” French, “Seaside Grill” steak, “World Cafe” buffet, “Coco Cafe” 24 Hour coffee, desserts, ice cream, and numerous bars and snack locations. On our first day there, we had some of the best desserts at the lighting of the Christmas Tree event. There were tables and tables of snacks, cakes and cookies, there was even a circus-type entertainment from the Christmas elves. A big thank you to Miguel Collins, who always knew what we needed when we arrived at the buffet. Other restaurants staff we want to recognize are Maribel, Luis, Zugey, Carmen, and Carlos. One of my favorite things every morning was to sit outside the World Café buffet, drinking coffee and looking toward the ocean. We saw a good number of whales out there. The entertainment team at Dreams is amazing! They have a schedule of activities that start at 8 am and continue well into the night, and there is so much going on at all times: yoga, aqua aerobics, crazy games, ping pong games, volleyball on the beach and water volleyball, archery lessons, Spanish lessons, dance, crafts, tequila tasting, and I'm sure I'm missing some of their activities. Dreams has a good size entertainment team, and they are all so friendly and energetic. Thank you Ezequiel, Martin, Manuel, Nirvana, Marcos, Cali, Domingo, and Otho, we had such a great time with all of you! Around the pool and near the beach, we had a lot of interaction and help from Jose, Juventud, Francisco, and Yeni. They brought towels, moved chairs and umbrellas so as to provide the best amount of sun or shade, and brought us non-stop food and drinks. Scheduled entertainment included live music each night with locals who would come into the resort to perform. They were really very good! There were also some special events like a Fire Show and a pirate show. Three weddings were held while we were there at Dreams, and at some point in each wedding, we would see fireworks, so lots of fun. Interestingly, with all these things going on, we had no trouble with noise at night when we were sleeping. During the day, there is construction going on as the resort updates and improves its property, but it was never a concern for us and never seemed to get in the way of anything we wanted to do. We were able to be lazy and lounge by the pool or the beach, to read books, even to take a nap in the room without being bothered by the activity. The beach is beautiful! I was able to walk for an hour to the west, and I think I could have walked even longer to the east but I didn't try. Just two resorts to the west of Dreams, there was an area buoyed off where people are allowed to swim and a life guard is on duty. Here, one can jump the waves. Another day I walked a half hour to the east of Dreams and found another roped off area where people can swim. This was right in front of the Hilton resort. It was much calmer, and the water was so clear that I could see schools of fish. I was so happy to be able to swim in the ocean, as often you hear that people can't swim in the ocean at Los Cabos. During our week we took a bus into Puerto Paraiso at Cabo San Lucas. We walked around the marina and took a boat to the arch, El Arco. It was such a fun tour and we saw lots of whales. The marina is crazy busy but a great place to people watch. On Thursday we took a taxi to San Juan del Cabo, because we had heard about the Art Walk. Besides the art work we saw the Christmas lights that they had just put up that day. Thanks to Dreams for a fun-filled week that we found to be very relaxing. We will definitely be back!

    An experience to forget!

Towels were brought in around the pool at 9:30AM and in very small number (less than 10 at times). Food was just average except Bordeaux (food and service were excellent). Too much construction going on. For a family reunion, they would no consider putting us in the same building.
