We stayed at this resort for a week. Resort is close to the airport, grounds kept amazing, workers constantly keeping it clean. We were at Preferred club and our room was nice with partial ocean view. My son enjoyed the waterpark and arcade very much. Coffee shop is amazing serving great milkshakes and smoothies. Shout out to Junior - bartender at the lobby bar who made the greatest Cosmo and Espresso martinis. Adrian our battler did an amazing job taking care of us and setting up a room for my birthday. Entertainment team did their best but 4 star resort should bring variety and more professional entertainment. The food was ok at the buffet, Seaside grill and Oceania. The rest of the restaurants the quality was very poor and if the buffet is closed, you don’t have any other options. We were part of Prefered club but didn’t feel the experience worth the money. It seemed that anyone could use amenities not just members. The staff should monitor or bracelets would be a great idea to distinguish the members. Overall we had a great holiday but management need to make some improvements.

Dreams Macao Punta Cana is truly an exquisite resort! The grounds are absolutely stunning and there is so much to do! The beach is absolutely beautiful and big, the pools stunning, and the lazy river so relaxing! My four-year-old son had an amazing time at the kids waterpark. The staff at the kids club are so wonderful and my son ended up going there every morning for hours! We enjoyed every single meal we had at all of the restaurants and the ladies at the coffee shop were amazing! I would 100% return to this resort! Every single staff member that we came into contact with for absolutely lovely, caring and positive!

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana — Huge Disappointment for $1500 a Person Just about to go back home from a 5-night stay (Oct 1–6), and honestly, this resort is a huge letdown. The place looks beautiful and the staff are friendly, but that’s where the positives end. Let’s start with the food — out of all the restaurants, only Bordeaux and Himitsu had decent meals. The rest were bland or just plain bad. Most nights, only a couple of restaurants were even open, so you don’t have many options anyway. The entertainment was awful — nothing compared to Riu resorts. The whole place felt dead, probably less than 500 guests total. For $1500 per person, we were bored out of our minds. The beach was terrible, full of rough waves so you can’t even swim. The main pool was nice, but that’s about it. Now the bar situation — a complete joke. They didn’t have Red Label the entire week, even though I asked every day. Magically, they had it only on our last night. Ordered beer from room service that same night and was told they ran out. What kind of resort runs out of beer? Bar staff were kind, but management clearly doesn’t care. They cut corners everywhere. The lobby bar closes at 12am, but they stop serving at exactly 11:57pm — seriously? This place gave off the vibe of poor management just trying to save money wherever possible, even if it ruins the guest experience. In short: beautiful property, nice staff, horrible management. We came as a group of 8 adults and 2 babies, and all of us regret booking here. Dreams Macao ripped us off for $1500 each. We’ll never be back.

BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!
This was our 4th family visit to Dreams Macao and we are happier than ever! We LOVE this place! It’s super family oriented, we travel with two boys, age 10 and 7. There is a huge lazy river, slides for big kids/adults and a separate water park for toddlers and little ones. They have a kids club for kids and a teenage club for older ones. Both are amazing. The staff are wonderful and always do their best to make sure the kids are well taken care of. Shout out to Candy, Moana, Lindura, Rosa and Betty Boop! The activity or fun club staff are phenomenal. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO BABYFACE! We keep coming back because he’s SO GOOD with our kids. Special thanks for Dora, La Negra, Lebron, Capuccino and Diamond. They go out of their way to make sure all the guests are having fun and entertained. When it comes to the food, we absolutely LOVE this place. Lots of variety in regards to restaurants. They have an Italian (great pastas and risottos), French (for adults only) more upscale and romantic setting, Mexican (great tacos/burritos), Japanese (chef can cook right in front of you, or not, whatever you prefer), a Steak House, a fresh fish grill and a buffet. We eat at a different place every night and love it each time. This place wouldn’t be the same without Francisco. He is in charge of almost everything when it comes to the restaurants. He makes sure the service is always the best and that we are treated like family at every meal. We cannot thank you enough for making our stay so wonderful! Thank you to Ruth, as always, for making sure we are always taken good care of. Same for Yunelis, she is wonderful and always a pleasure to deal with! Octavio, the head chef, is amazing! He’s always trying new things, adjusting the menus and listening to what the guests have to say. Thank you always! Thank you to Simone, Caesar and Junior, for always going above and beyond for us at each and every restaurant. You make us feel so welcome and tend to our every request. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! If you like Ice Cream and desserts check out the Coco Café. It’s open 24 hours and always serving great options from ice cream, candies, donuts, pastries, coffee, milkshakes, smoothies, teas and more. Thank you to all the ladies working there, especially Kenia, who make our late night visits so enjoyable! If you’re looking for something memorable to do, sign up for Le Petit Chef dinner show, it’s so much fun to do with your kids. The beach is beautiful and the sand is so clean. There are always waves, so if that’s not your thing, there’s not much you can do about it but the water is beautiful. Our rooms were always clean and attended to, twice a day. Check in with Ligia was so quick and easy, she is the best! Victor, the bell man, was great and showed up exactly on time to pick up our luggage on departure. The nightly shows are great. The bar staff are wonderful. We simply feel like we are at home when we visit this resort. If you’re a family, we highly recommend this place!

Great staff!
The staff was incredible, we made so many new friends, Papa chicken, Dora, Damary, LeBron , Mosquito, Leo. They were so friendly and kind. The food could be better but everything else was perfect.
