Jan 30, 2026Nice to get away in a warm place. Beautiful atmosphere!
Very impressed with room and maid service. Everyone very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was not the best. Any beef dish was awful. Got ill from the sweet cocktails. Something in them (cheap rum) didn’t agree with me. I was sick 2 days of vacation. Too much solicitation everywhere!!!! We’ve saved a lot to afford a trip there and having to wheel and deal everywhere we went was unacceptable.

Great resort in a great location. Upgraded to preferred club, the pool there was awesome. Staff was great, especially our butler Nelson. Giving 4 out of 5 because I feel the breakfast and dinner options could have been better dinner was fantastic.

Great hotel and staff
We had done a weeks cruise and a weeks stay at this excellent hotel.we stayed in a preferred private pool room and I can only describe it as perfect room 5182 it was well placed for the preferred pool and restaurants. Our butler Nelson sosa was great! He sent us info every day about what was on, booked our restaurant every night and sorted a few little things we needed during our stay. Food was better in some restaurants than others but as a whole it was lovely our favourites were cin cin , bluewater grill (short rib) and mecure .Breakfast was excellent in the preferred restaurant (Mexican) the service all over the hotel was A1 from waiters to bar staff towel boys and every1 in-between. I just want to say thank you to you all, especially Nelson our butler and Jessica in cin cin med restaurant at dinner.

Great family experience at Dreams Onyx!
My family (16 people) went on a family vacation to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We had a fabulous time! Aris was our butler and coordinated all aspects of our experience - checking in daily, taking care of any issues, arranging for a beach cabana, making dinner reservations including arranging for a birthday dinner for 16 people - great communication, friendly and efficient service! We had awesome waiters - Edwin at the beach, Newlie at the preferred pool, Victor at Italian, and Gulie at Japanese. Also the entertainment team were fun and hardworking, particularly Honey and Victoria. All staff were friendly and food was very good. I recommend Dreams Onyx and will definitely return!

We loved Dreams Onyx!
We had an absolutely amazing time at Dreams Onyx Punta Cana! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. The food throughout the resort had a great variety, and we never felt like we were eating the same thing twice. There are so many fun events and activities for all ages — beach parties, silent disco nights, fire shows — you name it! Our family was always entertained. The beach was gorgeous; although the waves were a little rough at times, we still made the best of it and enjoyed every moment. The lazy river and water park with slides were huge hits and brought out the inner kid in all of us! We also loved having access to the ice cream parlour, sports bar, and snack bar — lots of delicious and fun options everywhere you go. We had no issues getting beach chairs, which was such a relief. A very special shout-out to Santo, who went above and beyond for my husband, who is gluten-free and dairy-free. Santo checked in with us every single day and made sure my husband’s dietary restrictions were accommodated at every restaurant. His kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay extra special — he was such a pleasure to see each day! Thank you, Dreams Onyx! We’ve been to Punta Cana many times, but this was by far our favourite resort yet. We can’t wait to come back! 🌴✨
