Jan 27, 2026Relaxed Resort Not for Experiencing Culture
Location is 20 mins from Downtown Panama City. This hotel will be a perfect fit if you're looking for a quite secluded place. Atmosphere and ambiance were perfect. At night, the resort with well lit with lights. The lobby is welcoming and cleanliness of resort is on point. Noise level was at a low. Kids are welcomed. They even have their own playground. Staff always made sure you had everything you needed. Cleaning of the rooms varied in times. Most of the time came around 4pm. Food variety was good but we tend to go Downtown to eat at authentic places and really get to experience Panama for their culture. If you enjoy getting to know the culture and be in the know, I'd suggest staying in Old Town Panama. This resort is more to escape and have tranquility.

Really enjoyed our visit to Dreams Playa Bonita. Th staff were wonderful and the beach and Ocean were amazing! Spent lots of time either in the pool or in the Ocean

A great stay at Dreams Playa Bonita!
We had a great stay at Dreams Playa Bonita last week. The resort is smaller and that's what we prefer. If you are looking for a large resort with lots of pools and a la carte restaurants then this isn't the place for you. This resort is intimate and easy to get around with wonderful staff. We enjoyed the food at the buffets and a la carte restaurants and it's close to Panama City for a day trip, which we did twice. We highly recommend it!

Fantastic getaway
Amazing resort. One of My favourite vacations. The staff was absolutely incredible. Food was amazing. Rooms were great. View was perfect. Swam in the ocean everyday !
