Hotel badly needs to be updated and service needs to get better
Driving up to the hotel, you get to a gate with a guard booth making you think it's a high class and fancy resort. Once there, we found that the hotel itself is a little old, the check-in process is a little slow, and they're a bit aggressive in trying to sell you a timeshare. We did have some issues with our rooms (tv remote did not work, not enough clothes hangers, too dim in the room, bathroom door did not work, clothesline inside the shower was broken). We requested bug repellant wipes which was advertised in the bathroom, but they were never delivered. We requested room service one time, and it was forgotten. And our beds were not made even once during our 4-day stay (bath towels were replaced just once). Dining options were just ok. The food offerings could've been better. One of the few things we did enjoy was the pool and beach. Other than that, we were out and about on tours so I can't comment a whole lot about the hotel amenities.

Would not recommend
Would not recommend. Food was terrible. Buffet had 8 hot options with 2 being rice, most of the time. Son’s salmon had bones in it, but no one else’s did. Hotel also said they could easily accommodate vegans, they definitely could not. We went off site a few times to get food, as the salad bar food was not ripe or covered in bugs. Bathrooms have black mold in the grout. Staff will tell you yes, even when they can’t. Their internal communication is lacking. This hotel is cheap for a reason. Do yourself a favor, book a nicer place!

Time for for upgradea
My staff experience was good, my person greeter Victor was exceptional. Rooms require remodeling/renovation, outlets were loose & art misaligned. Food was ok, but would have liked more Panamanian options and consistently hot food. The waitstaff was not the quickest but very friendly.

Panama 2024 Family Vacation Review
The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend. It is about 45 mins drive from PTY’s airport but definitely worth staying at 1000% recommended. Quick Tip : Walk with mosquito repellent as the mosquitos come out in the afternoon.

Not at all sober friendly
When one spends thousands of dollars at an all inclusive resort especially one now owned by Hyatt you would expect them to include consideration for sober customers. You are going to be very disappointed. If you do not drink alcohol but like non alcohol beer and wine as a growing number of people I know do, they have absolutely nothing for you. I had to buy Heineken zero off site and got no credit or consideration at all for it. When we have been to other resorts if they do not have it when we arrive they make an effort and it has been in stock after the first day for the entire rest of the trip. Not here. While my wife says the booze here was very watered down that is not the same thing so I encourage sober people to support those places that support us and at this point this place is not one of them. Bar and wait staff felt badly but management did nothing. When I contacted Hyatt they said they could do nothing about it.
