Not recommended
Be prepared for hot humid weather and high humidity in the room. The smell was musty and never improved, even after the staff placed a dehumidifier in our room. The buildings are old, but they are working on getting it looking better. The common areas have been updated and are pretty. The food is not much better than an average cafeteria. Minimal fresh foods. The wine and liquor is not even mediocre. The staff is the only thing good about the place! They are consistently pleasant, smiling, helpful, and trying to do a good job.

Great choice for a vacation
Beautiful resort with breathtaking views of the ocean. The pools were awesome. The food was great! We really enjoyed our experience at the resort. The staff was wonderful and personable. Wish there were more activities at the resort, entertainment was lacking.

A Cute place to chill and relax
Its a cute place if you just want to relax and chill.. the staff and everyone on the resort are super friendly. And there are sloths on premise. But if your fancy this place is not for you. The food is ok although the breakfast buffet is mediocre. Family friendly.

Not recommended, not even a 3 Star hotel.
This resort was a disappointment. We expected so much more from a Dreams resort. It is a 3 star at best even if. The rooms smelt like mildew the entire time, the maid service was inconsistent. They never took our dirty glasses in the room and replaced them with clean ones. It is grossly understaffed and the service was terrible. Dinners took over 2 hours even to get the main course. Not many food options. The meals were never hot and maybe luke warm at best, sometimes cold. There are very limited food options. The bars never had the applicable glasses available for drinks - they gave me an Espresso martini in a low ball glass. We went preferred and never got robes in the room even after asking for them twice. The minute we checked out, they would no longer provide us with food or even a coffee to go. So if you check out and then expect to have lunch before you leave, think again. The only good thing about this resort were the grounds and the view of the ships entering the Panama Canal. I would never return and not recommend to anyone to stay here if you are expecting a 5 star resort.

It was probably one of the worst experiences ever had on vacation
Rooms need an overhaul. Food was the worst I’ve ever had. DO NOT eat the hotdogs. Had food poisoning as did a few others but they didn’t change out the hotdogs or stop serving them. Not once did the manager ask if feeling better. So this is not a rare thing.
