Not the best. It’s hard to go outside the hotel. You need the bell boy, then a golf cart to travel outside the hotel then a cab awaits at the main entrance. Beach location was awful. No close restaurants by the beach. The food only good was breakfast. Lunch was not speacial. Dinner was not that great. Their best value was a steak and was very low quality. They have few restaurants. Now the beer and alcohol selection was not good. They serve small can beer. The only draft was presidente that was served in a small mug. Majority of hard liquor felt watered down. Rooms were clean. But they forget to refill the fridge. When the kids wanted ice cream. I had to run all the day way down to beach for the only ice cream spot there was. And thier selecting sucked. Not even fruits added or syrup or anything. The only pros was def security The water slides outstanding Pools were clean and no trash laying around The beach was horrendous with seaweed heaven but hey they can’t control the beach. Beach hotel had no activity set up No jet ski , no boat no nothing. Over all will not go back.

We travel 4 times a year and generally stay at either Zoetry, Secrets or Dreams. My wife and myself visited Dreams Royal Beach in September and had a amazing stay. Although the resort is undergoing construction, noise and inconvenience due to it are minimal. The resort is very green and the vegetation lush, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the service is very attentive and prompt. The staff all over the resort are very friendly and always ready to help you with a smile. It was my birthday during the week and staff made me feel special by sending us a cake accompanied by a bottle of Champagne and a bottle of Rum Special shout out/thanks to: Liliana - World Cafe Yudeter - Entertainment Area Bar (I think Interlude) Rosa - Housekeeping Maximo

Dream Trip
All around great trip! Great food, great resort and unbelievable service! Would recommend 100%! Something for everyone, whether you’re just here to relax and enjoy! Or looking for adventure and anything in between A few people to mention that made our trip unforgettable: In market cafe: Miguel, Alfredo & Nelson Mandela Tres Colors Restaurant: Carlos (Bar) & Vincente Concierge: Michael I know I’m missing so many names, but can’t stress enough how amazing the staff is! They truly make the trip what it is

We had a wonderful vacation! Service was amazing!
Had a wonderful vacation at Dreams Royal Beach and we were worried when we saw some poor reviews before we arrived. The staff were many and did most everything you asked to make your time fantastic. Special thank you to these staff persons who made our trip excellent being kind, friendly, professional and attentive. Brownie with Entertainment Team, Carlos at Veranda Bar, Deiby, Arisemdy and Camila R. at the main entertainment/lobby/theater bar.

Dreams Royal Beach did not disappoint
First time at this resort, husband and I were part of a large group of friends, two who had already visited the resort twice previously. Upon their recommendation, we all accompanied this couple and did find the resort as described, if not better. Marcelo was our butler, and he did an outstanding job keeping everybody in our large group happy. He would greet us every day with a good morning text and list all the activities happening during the day, which was such a help.He was a constant presence & we would see and talk to him many times during the day, always ready to accommodate us. The nightly entertainment was spectacular, with a different show every night. The amount of food at the buffet is staggering. there is something for everybody. The second night of our stay we ate at Seaside Grill, which I recommend. Our hosts Yeimy and Jose Antonio Mancebo, went out of their way to serve our party of 10 wonderful food and terrific service. We ate the shrimp ceviche at the pizzeria 4 times during our stay, accompanied by a white pizza. Simple but delicious. Trying to work off all the food/drinks, I frequented the gym, which was pretty well appointed for a resort facility.(there were 3 separate rooms - one for cardio machines, one for weights/equipment , and one with mats for yoga/stretching. There's a very helpful young man by the name of Anyals, who oversees the gym and is there every day. I enjoyed speaking/practicing my Spanish with everyone and would definitely visit again
