    First time in Mexico

    Hotel and grounds were beautiful and very clean. We went to Isla Mujeres with aqua world and the staff on the boat were amazing and so much fun.

    The overall experience was great. Service was very attentive and polite. We did have to call to clean room after 1ish, but didn't ruin our trip. The room temperature could have been a little cooler. The view is wonderful. Plenty of bars for all day drinking. The evening entertainment was very cool. I especially enjoyed the Wednesday nite singing impersonation was fun!! We would definitely visit this hotel again.

    Racism & Terrible Food

    So many of the resort staff was so blatantly racist that it was so uncomfortable for my family. The food is awful and there’s no top shelf liquor. The preferred club staff ask you 50 times a day what your room number is and if you’re a preferred guest to the point that it’s insulting. Coco Cafe at other Dreams resorts have ice cream everyday. This Coco Cafe only had ice cream on Thursday. I’ve been here since Monday. Today is the first day they had ice cream. Yesterday morning when I went to get coffee, there was a man there who told me that they weren’t serving lattes until 8am. Only 2 minute later a white man came and asked for a latte and he gladly made it for him. Right in my face. So I go right back up and ask for a latte and he begrudgingly made it. Just awful. I can stay in America for racism. It’s really exhausting. The ONLY reason this place gets one star is because the beach is AMAZING! The beach is so shallow and the water is beautiful & clear. I love the beach here. But the staff, food and the cleanliness of this place could use a definite overhaul. Other Dreams properties that I have visited are MUCH better. We didn’t even get slippers in our room. 😳😡

    Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you of my profound disappointment and extreme dissatisfaction regarding my recent stay at your establishment. Unfortunately, the experience I had fell well below acceptable standards for a hotel of your caliber. I regret to have to highlight a list of major issues encountered during my stay. My room was not only dirty but also in a very poor condition: the shower did not work properly, had mold in it, the bathroom door was broken, and the bathroom mirror was covered in mold. Additionally, the absence of a hair dryer, the defective ironing equipment, and the rusty and damaged ironing board greatly compromised my comfort. Furthermore, when it rained, my room got flooded, which is unacceptable. The lack of a balcony in the room is a first for me in a hotel establishment, and it reflects a lack of attention to the guests' needs. It is evident that the room has not been renovated for some time, contributing to a very unpleasant experience. Despite my request for a room change, I was informed that no solution could be offered, which added to my frustration. The service received at the front desk was deplorable, and I consider it deserving of a score of 0. Following this disappointing experience, I wish to inform you that this stay will be the last one I spend at any of your properties. Furthermore, I cannot in any way recommend your hotel to anyone in light of this extremely negative experience. Please take into consideration these serious issues and implement corrective measures to improve the quality of your services. I look forward to hearing back from you.
