  Highly reccomend!

  Fantastic experience! The restaurants were great, the service was amazing! Our room was cleaned each day and we received turn down service each evening. The staff, especially the entertainment staff was FABULOUS! Would definitely go again!

  Great little resort

  This was my 4th visit to this resort. Although it is an older resort, it is very well maintained. Staff is incredible. Pool is massive and there are lots of loungers. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. This is a smaller resort so you don't have to walk miles. Buffet is actually quite good. Great variety each day. Restaurant food is wonderful with great variety. Spa is quite nice. Vendors come in twice a week in the evening. Beach sand is soft and powdery and the water is hit and miss for roughness. Not your turquoise blue. 25 min from Cancun airport.

  Avoid this hotel

  Avoid this hotel, trust me. If you already booked, you better have the Indigo upgrade because that is the only thing that makes this property palatable. Property desperately needs to be remodeled. Even the new Indigo rooms smell like mold and the construction is poorly done with paint drips/drywall seems showing/paint splatters everywhere/rust on every paint piece of steel and the shower/toilet room glass doors are permanently damaged and look dirty. The food is the worst thing. Low quality from top to bottom.

  Overall a good trip

  We just got back from a weeks stay at Dreams Sapphire. Overall we had a great week. I will start with the amazing. When we checked in (after a 2 hr bus ride to the resort. This is a whole other story) at 11 pm with a 21 month old, the lady at reception, Ruth, asked if we were celebrating anything. I said my mom’s bday. She said welcome and happy birthday. She left for a brief moment and came back and said she spoke with her supervisor, she was upgrading our room. She said the room they had us in was on the third floor and with no elevator and a stroller she said she wanted to make our stay more enjoyable. We paid for a garden view and she gave us a swim out pool, ocean front. It was the nicest thing anyone has done for us and a life saver with a 21 month old. We saw her at the end of our trip and thanked her because it made our trip that much better. The à la cartes were probably the best food I have had at an all inclusive, and I have been to about 15 different ones. We went to portafino, blue water grill and himatsu. We wanted to try others but unfortunately we all ended up very sick. This did give us the opportunity to try room service though which was also great. The food was delivered when they said and was hot. This resort is very family friendly! I think 90% there were a family with kids. Lots for the kids to do- waterslides, splash park, mini golf, they had daily activities for kids, an area with games set up, really family friendly. We did aqua aerobics with Abraham the one day. It was so fun!! He had everyone enjoying it and more people came to join in when they saw how fun he made it. We didn’t get our room cleaned very much, which was a bit disappointing. The timing just wasn’t working out with my 21 month olds naps. We also didn’t see the entertainment because of her sleep, but from what I saw advertised, I’m sure it was great. The beach was great for walking along. You could walk forever. There was seaweed, but a tractor went along multiple times a day to clean it up. The buffet was a bit of a disappointment. There was a lot of fish and as a family with fish and dairy allergies (we know not ideal or easy to feed) we found it hard to find stuff to eat to maintain a well balanced diet. Other than the fact we were sick 6 of 7 days, we made the most of it and did have fun.
