  Average at best.

  Overall this is a very average resort. The beach is not great, and the food is average. The pool is really nice but I’m not sure what the DJ is thinking, constantly stopping and starting music, or only playing the same spa music on a loop. Be prepared to wait at least an hour to eat every night. Food was often cold, and the options at the buffet were quite limited but if you’re not a foodie you’ll be fine. Do not waste your money upgrading to pro ledge, it is a complete waste of money- the lounge is eerie with no music playing and the food selection in there is borderline inedible. The Bali beds you are able to book are three rows back from the pool as well- we didn’t even bother. As privilege you cannot book reservations which is common in my experience. This is a very family oriented resort so you will find kids running everywhere, not a con for some but keep that in mind. Overall we enjoyed our week as we are easy going but definitely won’t be returning.

  Enjoyable night at El Patio - dreams sapphire

  Food was quite good. Authentic Yucatán Mexican food. Enjoyable. Jacento was an excellent server. Family was somewhat apprehensive given we enjoy texmex style Mexican food. But really enjoyed it. Would recommend to those staying at the resort.

  Honest Review of Dreams Sapphire Resort Our stay at Dreams Sapphire was a mix of great service, excellent dining, and noticeable differences in room quality across the resort. Pros: The staff were amazing and made our stay truly enjoyable. Their hospitality stood out and was one of the highlights of our trip. The bars served great drinks with a well-balanced alcohol-to-mix ratio. The restaurants offered delicious food. While the buffet at World Café was hit or miss (as expected with most buffets), we still found dishes we enjoyed. Portofino and Bordeaux were our favorites and definitely worth visiting. After upgrading to Indigo with a swim-out pool, we had an incredible experience. The room was spotless and up to the 5-star standard we expected. The rooftop pool was beautiful and much quieter than the main pool, and our swim-out pool was clean and well-maintained, making it the perfect private retreat. Cons: Our original room (1036) was disappointing and definitely needed maintenance. It had a moldy smell, electrical issues, and non-functioning lights near the balcony. By the third or fourth day, I started experiencing coughing and congestion, likely due to the moldy AC. The main resort area and standard rooms felt more like a 3.5-star experience at best, which is concerning for a Dreams-branded resort. The beach was mostly clean but we did notice a large amount of plastic pieces in the sand. They need to groom the sand to remove the plastic which poses a risk walking barefooted. You need to get up really early to secure a spot near the main pool. The resort don't have towel cards so most people would put a towel on chairs and walk away and leave them all day. This was an issue everyday we visited the main pool. Final Thoughts: There’s a huge quality difference between the main resort and the Indigo section. While Indigo is truly closer to 5-star luxury, the rest of the resort needs better upkeep and renovations to match that standard. If you’re considering this resort, I highly recommend upgrading to Indigo for the Dreams experience. Otherwise, you might be underwhelmed. ⭐ Overall Rating: 4/5 (5 stars for Indigo, 3.5-4 for the main resort)

  Richie and Marco are the best!!

  Beds amazing, service is absolutely amazing, entertainment team specifically Richie is the BEST!!! Marco the pool bartender is great as well! Restaurants are very good and food is delicious! Drinks are perfect!! Shows are awesome as well!
