Dec 05, 2025Worst Resort Experience!!
Hyatt should be ashamed to put their name on this resort. It is old, run down, musty, terrible food with no excitement from servers, disgusting buffets and the worst drinks. We upgraded to a premium room and paid extra for no hot water, disgusting musty smell and an air conditioner that never turned off. I had to be brutally honest with the staff members trying to sell me their vacation ownership. I own 2 elite ownerships from Starwood that is now owned by Marriott. Dreams cannot hold a candle to them. I am telling everyone I know about this resort and to stear clear. If I didn't have to stay for a wedding I would have checked out immediately. I did cut the stay by one day to get out of this resort.

The resort was exceptional, the staff would bend over backwards to ensure you were taken care of .the food was all good,lots to choose from,the beach was beautiful, some rocks ,but a very large sand area with no rocks Gilberto was my favorite bartender,the entertainment was very good,great time had,would recommend for a great time

Kids Club's staff went above and beyond
We knew that we were going in for a treat when we booked Dreams Tulum, after having been at various Dreams and Secrets sister properties. Dreams Tulum did not disappoint. Location, facilities, rooms, and service. This was our fist experience, though, with their Kids Club (they call it Explorer's Club at this resort). We were happily surprised at how well set up they are, with dedicated water park, movie room, crafts room, etc. etc. But what made all the difference were the amazingly caring, dedicated staff that work long hours every day to entertain and even educate our kids. Our daughter kept asking for more time and more time, and to come back again in the afternoon and evening for all kinds of fun activities: excursions to feed iguanas, pinata on the beach, camping and movie on the beach, cookie decorating and much more. They even taught about nature and conservation, the importance of recycling, and creating beautiful crafts from discarded materials for one of the WOW moments. Kudos to all staff, and apologies for missing a name or two! Angeles, Fernanda, Naivi, Valeria. Thank you for making our little one's trip even more special. Ps. This is my third attempt and TripAdvisor keeps failing to post my Review. Not including photos this time, hopefully they'll finally publish this?

Dec 01, 2025Perfect, relaxing Thanksgiving getaway
We had such a great time unplugging and spending time at both the preferred club beach access and the pool. The waitstaff we all so attentive and ready to help. Alphonso at the "party" pool consistently went above and beyond and anticipated our drink orders, even bringing refills when super busy. Our teenage daugther's had a blast and lived their best lives, even without phones.

Beautiful hotel and amazing dinner
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the entire staff super helpful. We had an unforgettable private dinner at the Cava (cella) in Dreams Tulum. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Edgar, who served us throughout the evening, provided outstanding customer service—attentive, friendly, and truly committed to making our night special. We were also warmly assisted by Omar, Fernando, and Baltazar, who helped create a seamless and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Combined with the fantastic ambiance, it made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable evening at Dreams Tulum!
