Sep 20, 2026Love Secrets La Romana so much we went twice in 2026!
We love coming to Secrets La Romana. My husband likes to scuba dive with Scuba Caribe and I like the pools and beach. Shout out to Berlin at the dive shop! We have been here 7 times, even when it was a Hilton resort. We always booked the Preferred Club and request the Pool View room on the third floor. I feel like this visit in July 2026 was probably our best trip ever. We met a lot of great guests and as usual terrific employees. But one really memorable experiences was seeing Pedro the manatee!! I had heard he came to the resort sometimes and was so excited to get to see him twice! I want to give shout outs to the following employees. ALL the employees are wonderful and wish I could mention all of them. First and foremost, our butler Yoel. He was great. Always knew what we needed and wanted. Exceptional service. Also, our favorite bartenders Olga and Raul at the preferred pool. And a new favorite server Wendy!! Some of your best employees. One of our favorite restaurants is Noor. We got to meet Chef Aftab Alam. We loved his food. Also, a new favorite is El Camino on the Dream side. Really loved their food and Wilber Huguin and Santos Luis as our waiters! We ate at the Buffet every morning and enjoyed the friendliness of Yanins Rivera! Wonderful employee. Another thing I would like to mention is the addition of Scores Sports Bar. We travel extensively in the Caribbean and also stay at many Sandals resorts. Being from the US, we love having a Sports Bar on property. Sandals do not have many and I love the one at Secrets. We would go every night after dinner and have an after dinner drink. When there in February, the Sports Bar had a drink called "On the Road." When we came back in July, there was a new menu and that drink was not there, but my absolute favorite bartender Ramon Zorrilla made me one anyways. EVERY night I walked in and he saw me, he had one made for me. I appreciate that so much. Great employee. All and all we love the DR and Secrets La Romana. We appreciate you all and are looking forward to seeing everyone again in July 2027:)

We had a Wonderful Experience at so many Levels!
Raul & Ilveria were the Bartenders at Secrets La Romana and they were Incredible! With everything and suggesting different Drinks 🍸. Wendy the Lady Bringing us our Drinks by the Pool side also a Wonderful Person! Actually everyone we've Encountered was Wonderful! So many Positive things to say about Secrets La Romana!

Wendi & Olga = Superstar service!
Wendi & Olga — the dynamic duo! 🍹☀️ Our preferred pool bar simply wouldn’t be the same without these two! From the moment you arrive, Wendi and Olga are always there with a big smile, a warm welcome and fantastic service. They are both incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely make you feel so welcome. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they have a great way of remembering what you like. Whether you’re stopping by for a refreshing drink, a cocktail by the pool, they always go above and beyond. Their energy, friendliness and brilliant service really add to the whole holiday experience. Thank you Wendi & Olga for making our pool bar visits so enjoyable — you are both absolute stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

40th birthday trip
Booked a preferred club room, and so spent most of our time at the preferred pool. Wendy was great at keeping us stocked in drinks at our beds and Olga as bartender ensured the cocktails were flowing. No notes!

I am going to give the resort time to respond before posting a formal, written review. As of right now, I would not return and would not recommend to others.
