Nov 26, 2025Excellent hotel, great staff
I went with my family for thanksgiving break and this hotel is amazing. It’s in a very good location we got all inclusive and just ate at the restaurant every day and I have no complaints the service was excellent, something broke in our room but they came to fix it within 5 minutes. They have many beach chairs by the pool and easy access to the ocean and dive shop. Loved this hotel would stay here again!

Exceptional Service and Memorable Experience at El Cid!
Our stay at El Cid was truly unforgettable thanks to the exceptional service and personal touch from Alberto, Oscar, Rodger, and the entire staff. I traveled with my daughter and two young grandchildren, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were incredibly patient with food requests—especially since the little ones only wanted pizza, chicken nuggets, and fries! For me, the culinary experience was outstanding, particularly the Mexican night. I had always wanted to try mole sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of flavors was remarkable and made the evening special. Aside from the friendly and hardworking staff, the authentic food experience at El Cid is reason enough to return. Thank you for making our trip a beautiful memory!

Gets better every visit!
We just returned from another wonderful stay at El Cid La Ceiba. Upon arrivial we were greeted by Ari and Armando with smiles and hugs. We were then greeted by Ester and Francico, welcoming us "home". Juan, Pablo and Ruby were fantastic in the restaurant! Our room was maintained by Vicki, who always does a fantastic job. Also, a shout out to Roger who does a great job helping to create a fun vacation!

Excellent/ great staff.
The staff was awesome. friendly, found out income does mostly depend on gratuities. So please make sure you tip them all they work very hard. They do a great job. Shout out to Roger activities. Director He does a great job to keep people entertained. And the staff Edmond, Eric, & Fernando, also Lupa. The staff coming in the door to the staff, leaving they've all been awesome would very much recommend. We love this place and how personable. It is, and we will be back. Tony & Danielle

Exceptional Service & Personal Touch Make This Resort Shine
This was an amazing experience! This small resort does a wonderful job of making you feel cared for as an individual. The food was outstanding for the most part—while there were a couple of themed nights I would have skipped, the other meals more than made up for it. The staff truly made this trip memorable. Jose is an exceptional bartender, Oscar provided outstanding service at every meal, and Rodger made me feel like royalty during my snorkeling experience. Saul ensured we had wonderful excursions, and I would highly recommend the experience, especially if you enjoy diving.
