    Dante and Isys are awesome… they engage the crowd and make it fun…. Come to the activity center and see for yourself!!!..

    Love El Cid

    I have had a timeshare with El Cid for many years. Yes it can be a pressure sale, but it’s up to you to manage the pressure by managing what you want and the time spent at the presentations. We looove the marina and el cid in general. The staff, the service and the facilities are 5 star all the way. However at the marina, the washers and dryers are for boats only and that is ridiculous as far as I am concerned as it causes friction between the boaters and the guests. You either have it or you do not.

    I have enjoyed some of the activities, the private beach, the pools, the opportunity or possibility to visit the other El Cid hotels in the same city. The customer service is good as well. The downturn is that there's no free Wi-Fi.

    SUCH FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF!

    I’m an El Cid member and because my mother of 87 years cannot travel anymore- needed to use up my points before they expired. (I also bought another contract for another 20 years to enjoy!). Thanks to Jennifer and Marcella in the sale department for making this happen. My mother’s favorite is El Moro tower- I couldn’t get in but not only I was able to get in the El Cid Marina- I was upgraded to a one bedroom with a huge balcony with a view of the yachts. Thanks to Antonio who picked me up at the airport and Edmund the driver. Ely from concierge helped with my presentation as well as organizing my massage (Janet as El Cocay was wonderful) and the sunset boat tour. Alfonzo made sure I got to the right place, and Adrianna and Rogelio were a great help at concierge Hats off to the butlers Abi and especially Juan- they both organized all my dinner reservations and would often go with me in the shuttle bus to make sure I was safe and sound between all 4 of the El Cid resorts. Juan also made arrangements for a complimentary sketch of me- I didn’t expect this and offered to pay for it- but it was gift from the resort. All of the restaurants fit anyone’s palette and with great staff - El Patio (with Angel very professional) for steak; Marco at the Italian Restaurant (Castilla), Daniel at the Terrace; Enrique and Fredy at La Cascada and Eduardo at La Concha (both at El Moro). The main restaurant I went to was La Marina. Jose Luis and Guierllmo really managed it well; Mario, Manuel, Orlando , Daniel, Hugo , Pedro, and Enrique (#2) who “read my mind” and brought me a banana 🍌 all sliced up himself to go with my oatmeal- this is an example of the level of service- I also noticed (being a gardener myself) the meticulous work done by the ground staff- I was impressed. My maids Lizeth and Esperanza were great too. Great landscaping and two huge pools with caves inside the waterfall of one them is wonderful to cool off in. I’m. It surprise by trip advisor’s score- All these aspects mentioned above , with genuine friendly and professional staff make this resort a hit. Thanks again for a great week! 😄

    Great pool, beautiful..one big problem

    Impeccable grounds, beautiful pool and great staff. Worst experience with the ‘time share’ closer, Vikrant. Never had someone get up and walk away when we continued to decline. Condescending, rude and aloof. He does a great disservice to El CID’s reputation.
