The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was good also with a large shower and plenty of counter space. Very easy trip from the airport to hotel with MTS. Great customer service, lots of friendly faces willing to help us each day. We enjoyed meeting the staff and participating in the daily activities. It was a great family trip.

This is an honest review for those thinking about going to El Cozumeleno. First the excellent…all the food was delicious, breakfast buffet, lunch menu and supper menu (we were there before lunch and supper buffet began) Lunch on the beach was served to us and the chicken tacos and guac, pico and chips were wonderful ! Shout out to friendly , attentive servers Manuel and Aldo! One supper we ordered grilled steak and it was one of the most tender, flavourful steaks of my life! And the creamy, cheesy mashed potatoes were great. The beach, clear turquoise water and the snorkel drift were amazing! Look for the Eagle Ray that hangs out around the resort, and you’ll literally see tens of thousands of tropical fish on the drift from Westin to El Coz. *Swim the drift from 1pm and later to avoid any jellyfish. We paid a discount off season rate with the lowest price room and had a beautiful view of pool and beach from our balcony on the second floor. What a surprise! The beds were comfortable, room was clean, black out blinds ensured a good sleep. The one negative was poor water pressure in the shower with only warmish water before supper and in evening. One highlight was the tandem parasail my grandson and I took right from the dock at El Coz. We used Albatross Parasail with Fabio and Captain Alonzo. Unforgettable, beautiful experience where we felt very safe! I highly recommend El Cozumeleno and look forward to hopefully returning next The tennis court and mini putt made it really fun for teenaged grandson.

Awesome place to vacay
Great location, easy atmosphere, spacious rooms, good value, clean enough. Restaurant chef is inventive, artistic in his dish presentation and food preparation. Some waiters and waitresses in the restaurant are overqualified and very client oriented. Overall, we would come back for another vacation here for sure.

Amazing Resort!!
My family and I had an amazing time at this resort . We were in heaven with such a beautiful beach and awesome staff . The food was delicious. The waiter Santiago brought us everything we needed with a smile on his face. Thank you for everything !! We hope to come back soon .
