Jun 15, 2025NO guarantee if you want a room with 2 double beds.
Girls trip to Mexico. First of all the staff was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Beautiful property. Great access to the neighboring property " The Palms" via golf carts. They were readily available if you didn't want to walk. Once you got the lay of the land it was pretty easy to walk but when it's hot, the golf carts are great to have. We were a group of 8 that reserved 4 hotel rooms, with double beds in each. Head's up, there is NO guarantee for a room with double beds. They only have 10 of those rooms on the entire property. We had to "settle" for king sized beds with a roll away cot. Not the property's fault but the Sargassum (seaweed) was SO bad. The staff was constantly at work trying to remove it from the beach but it was a losing battle. The smell was horrible. We spent most of our time at the pool so it wasn't a huge issue except certain areas of the property smelled really bad.

The resort is nice and clean. The staff were amazing! Victor one of the golf cart drivers is amazing. The pool entertainment (all three) were amazing…had a great time! Make sure to ask for better liquor for your drinks are you get the cheap crap 😉 Our room was cleaned daily and fridge restocked. Room service was good and fast! Our swim out was perfect, we didn’t use it much. The only reason we won’t be back is this… All restaurants close down at a certain time (around 4 I believe) and you can’t find anything to eat till 5:30! Unless you order room service. The seaside market has a dress code in the evenings which is fine but it should apply to everyone. Men without sleeves are not allowed in but females with pretty much no clothes on can go in 🤦🏼♀️ We were turned away twice, once because the guys didn’t have sleeves and second because my daughter had a coverup on. This wasn’t a big deal for us but we had a group of 7 and they would not sit us together, only 6 people per table.

We had the best time staying here for our honeymoon! The activities at the pools were so much fun, especially when they were being led by Benjamin, Luana and Octavio. They made everything much more enjoyable!! We also had great service from our butlers Edith, Leslie, Carlos and Victor. They helped simplify our stay and were there for us anytime we needed them. They even surprised on our last night with some rose petals, a bubble bath, chocolates and champagne! Transportation with Lomas Travel was great as well. We will definitely be coming back and can’t wait to see all of our favorite staff again. Everyone was so nice, fun and helpful!

We were here for 5 nights/6 days from June 6-11 and our stay was amazing! The staff was so much fun and made all of the activities so much better. Benjamin and Luana from the sports and entertainment crew were absolutely amazing, I truly don’t think we would’ve had as much fun without them! We did a cocktail class with Jesus and he was excellent as well. Everyone else was super nice and helpful throughout our whole stay. We will definitely be returning and hope to see some of our favorite staff again! also octavio, Abraham, angel, luis, jose

Great hotel
Had a fantastic two weeks here….. first time in Mexico, and will definitely come back to ESS. Staff couldn’t do enough for you….. great entertainment throughout the stay…. Extremely clean, food and drinks were fantastic….. highly recommended
