  Another Incredible Stay at El Dorado Casitas Royale

  We just returned form ANOTHER great stay at the Casitas, has to have been our 10th trip there. Two people really made our stay very special though...our Casitas butlers Fernando and Fernanda. We had a couple issues with not walls on the beach bed (one call and they were up within 20 min) and construction on the 2 Casitas right next to us, very loud with power tools, and they were able to get us switched into another set right across the way, and no more noise. They were so helpful for all the little things that you would not really think about, the trip would not have been as nice without them and I hope we can have them again next time we are there. The restaurants were all as good as ever, but Kampai menu has changed a bit and it was even better than before. This trip we also went the the Indian restaurant for the first time, and man that was delicious as well. One thing my wife and I have always enjoyed about the Casitas is consistency. I don't think we have ever had a bad stay. Even when we were there post hurricane, everything was still amazing. We will continue to go back until we have a reason not to. This place is very special, if you have not been yet, do yourself a favor and book a trip there. You will not be sorry. One thing they should probably change though, we did not appreciate the woman hounding us to buy a 30% discount for our next trip for $300 as we were waiting for our transportation after checkout. I feel that was tacky and you guys should not do that.

  Great Casitas

  We just got back from saying at the Casitas. We loved our casita! We had a very close ocean view and loved waking up to the birds. The grounds are immaculate, the employees are working non stop to make it beautiful and clean. All the employees were very friendly and kind. The beds were so comfortable!! The only bad part is the beach. Even without all the seaweed, it's not swimmable. However, they can take you to a much better beach nearby with very good snorkeling.

  Wonderful staff

  We visited casitas for my birthday earlier in June and this is the first Resort I wanted to return back to for sure!! We enjoy usually every Resort but opt for variety but this one we want to return - here are some reasons why: Included excursions!! We are activities people and the Maroma Excursion did not disappoint! - the food - seriously, this is the best food I've had at a Mexican resort so far and we've been to four others. It was next level in terms of the quality and not just simple flavors, the ingredients in the dishes were pretty well thought out! The staff everywhere was incredible I can tell that they just put lots of thought into their hiring and higher quality people. We loved going to get cappuccinos at the coffee shop next to the open air bar! Love the coffee so much that I took a picture of it they only sell it to Resorts otherwise we would order some as we have a cappuccino maker at home!! I enjoyed little details that Housekeeping did like decorating the bed the two different times, turn down service at night and even organizing my phone charger cord to perfection!!! I enjoyed frequent mimosa refill service at breakfast!! The only con I can think of for me would be that the toilet in the bathroom was not very private at all. This is because the door is not soundproof and then there is no ceiling over the bathroom; just a door. We will live with it because everything else was perfection!!!

  Another great stay!

  Another amazing anniversary trip at El Dorado Casitas! We started our stay in an Emerald Suite at Casitas and then joined friends in a Presidential Suite at Royale. As always, the people made the trip. A huge thank you to our favorite butlers, Gaby (who honestly feels like family at this point), Alfredo, and Hugo. We also had some new favorites this trip: Jorge, Ximena, Eddie, Monty, and Luna. Every one of them went above and beyond and helped make our anniversary extra special. Ramon and Alberto at the pool completely spoiled us. Drinks magically appeared before we realized we needed one, food was always available if we wanted it, and we never had to hunt down a towel. They made relaxing way too easy! We also had fantastic service in the restaurants from Alex, Norma, and Wilbert. Wilbert especially has a special place in my heart. If you’ve met him, you know exactly what I mean. One of the highlights of our trip was watching sea turtles come up on the beach to lay their eggs. Such an incredible experience. If you’re staying there during turtle season, bring a red-light flashlight or use a red-light app on your phone. It’s absolutely worth it. After 37 years of marriage, hubby and I have learned that it’s the people who make the memories, and this resort has some of the very best. Thank you all for another trip we’ll never forget. ❤️

  Amazing wonderful beautiful hotel and experience

  We are just returning from another fantastic vacation at this wonderful resort! It is a real life paradise! We have been several times and each time it exceeds our expectations. Our 11th visit was no exception. Our Casita was section 32 and we were spoiled by our wonderful butlers Alfredo and Alondra. Their small touches and little surprises left each night for us was so sweet. They could not do enough for us. All staff around the resort, from bar and waiting staff to cleaning and gardening staff are so friendly and always remember your name and your drink or coffee or order. The food is outstanding at all restaurants. We did Fuentes too which was a nice change for a night, albeit it did feel more rushed than last time and the no show was a shame compared to last visit. Duo were very good though The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel is absolutely tip top! Martini bar staff and drinks are lovely however everyone commenta some light entertainment would be appreciated maybe a singer or pianist in the back ground 10-11 or 12 for after dinner drinks if you don’t want to go to Guacamayas Personally I was very reluctant to sit out at our poolside at 32s due to the iguana activities. I appreciate they have been there before the hotel, however they are daunting when we are not used to them in the UK. Having been 11 times it’s not the first time we have witnesses them around 32s however this time they were jumping on to the sunbeds and walking up and down them. I was trying to relax with a cocktail at the poolside and friends in the pool warned me one was running right over to me, needless to say I had to jump straight in to the pool. If there was some kind of deterrent such as citrus planting etc to taper their activity I would feel more at ease to book my next trip Other staff members who were exceptional were Daniel, Cleo, Randy, Israel, Roberto, Giulermo, Felipe, Emiliano, Arecely, Joselyn, Jacqueline, Edgar, Luis, the list goes on apologies if we missed any others there are no bad staff on the resort We did miss the band you had last year with the male singer who sang Shaggy songs etc they were excellent and had everyone doing the conga etc such fun!
