  Gorgeous property!

  Stunning property, very clean, great pools, and close to town. Would absolutely stay here again!

  Brilliant hotel

  Room was lovely and clean, and was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Air-con in the room was excellent. Breakfast was good quality and varied daily. Chairs were easy enough to come by at the numerous pools. Reception happy to provide beach towels on request with no fuss whatsoever. Walk into town of ~10 minutes was beautiful with the views of the caldera. The separation from the town proper meant noise levels were minimal at night and a good sleep was easy to come by. Staff were very friendly and chatty, with a very helpful concierge. The atmosphere around the place was very suitable for couples and families alike. We did five nights through Jet2, and found the experience perfect for us. Whilst Santorini will never be the cheapest location, El Greco was well worth the money and we will not hesitate to book again should we visit Fira in the future, whether as a couple or with children.

  A great stay!

  We had such a lovely stay at El Greco as a family. The hotel is clean, the food is great and the location is excellent (just a short walk in to town)

  Lovely hotel, great location

  Fira is a great location and this one is walking distance into the main hub but far away enough to be quiet from the busy areas. We only had breakfast and lunch and went into Fira for dinner most nights or had a late lunch. There is a supermarket at the back of the hotel for snacks and drinks and some restaurants. Mixture of tourists, friendly and chilled mainly. Tips Don’t get a room facing the bar unless you are a deep sleeper. We had a lovely room but it was facing the bar so had to move. Staff were helpful and moved us further away to a slightly older room. It was still nice. Rooms do not have irons but ask at reception People leave towels on beds and don’t use the beds. This was my only issue as you have to get up early if you want a bed by your room. Several pools and rooms around those pools for convenience. Towels are not big so bring extra or ask for two each at reception Breakfast is the same most days and is good Staff are lovely and accommodating, pool is clean and rooms are at a high standard. Recommend this hotel and was well priced for Fira. Posted late- travelled August 2025

  Extremely Disappointing Experience!

  Extremely disappointing experience — I would not return I am honestly shocked by the experience we had at El Greco Hotel in Fira, Santorini. The manager Theodure was extremely rude, patronising and dismissive towards us. At one point, I felt completely humiliated when he laughed in my face while I was trying to address our concerns. As a Muslim hijabi family, we were the only family dressed like us at the resort, and throughout our stay we genuinely felt that we were being treated differently and unfairly. The experience left us feeling discriminated against and deeply uncomfortable. Things became so difficult that we had to contact our booking provider for help while we were still on holiday. That is absolutely not something you expect to have to do when you have paid to stay at a hotel and are simply trying to enjoy your holiday. I am very well travelled and have visited many countries around the world, but I have honestly never experienced anything quite like this. The way we were treated was completely unacceptable and has left a very bitter impression on what should have been a relaxing trip. I will never return to this hotel, and based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking. DO NOT STAY HERE. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Sadly, after this experience, I also have no desire to return to Santorini.
