  Exceptional hospitality

  The experience here was outstanding! The staff really made my stay incredible! Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and warm. It felt like home! Such special attention to detail, and so personal. Rooms were clean and comfortable, such a lovely hotel. Great location. Really enjoyed my stay! Special thanks to the entire staff, I haven’t experienced such exceptional hospitality ever at a hotel!

  Avoid the Tourist Resorts & embrace the Aloha Spirit

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at the Equus Hotel and would absolutely give it 5 out of 5 stars! The location was perfect—just a short 10-minute walk to Ala Moana Center, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and Waikīkī attractions nearby. What I loved most was the hotel's charm. It wasn't one of those huge, crowded tourist resorts, which made for a much more relaxing and personal experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Rene at the front desk. From the moment we walked in, we felt the aloha spirit. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so kind and accommodating throughout our stay. A fun bonus was the two complimentary drinks at the hotel bar! The bar is super cute and intimate, making it easy to mingle with other guests. The bartender was friendly and had great recommendations for things to do around the island, which was a nice touch. Parking is very limited, and we ended up parking in the overflow lot across the street. However, even with that, the parking was still one of the better-priced options you'll find at any hotel in Waikīkī, so it really wasn't a big issue. If you're looking to avoid the large, busy hotels in Waikīkī but still want to be close to everything, I highly recommend the Equus Hotel. It has all the convenience of staying in Waikīkī without the crowds, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere really made our stay special. We'll definitely be back!

  A perfect stay in Honolulu

  Our experience at this hotel was absolutely amazing. We stayed in a room with a king-size bed, and it was spacious enough for two adults. There’s also a bar on the first floor where guests can grab a drink and chat with other people staying at the hotel, which created a really welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go without any trouble, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Above all, the service was outstanding. Every staff member we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We truly appreciated everyone’s hospitality, and we’d like to give a special thank you to Rene for her kindness and support. She made our time in Hawaii even more special. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for the price, and I can confidently say you won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Highly recommended!
