Beginner friendly snorkeling experience in Cozumel
We did the snorkeling tour with Nestor and Armando. They were super helpful and accommodating to me who didn't know swimming and was doing snorkeling for the first time. The biking experience was also nice. Highly recommend them!

7.5/10 – A Good Vacation, With Some Room for Improvement Overall, I would rate our vacation at The Explorean and Fiesta Americana Cozumel about 7.5/10. I want to start by saying the staff were wonderful. Shout out to Jose and Miguel in the restaurants. Pool service also was top notch! Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and welcoming, which definitely added to our experience. The food was okay to good, but there were times when food came out cold, and overall I found some of the meals a little underwhelming. With a resort of this level, I expected the dining experience to be a bit more polished. We travelled during rainy season, so I recognize that this affected our ability to enjoy some excursions and outdoor activities. However, one thing that really surprised me was how slippery the walking paths became when it rained. The flooring/material used did not seem appropriate for an area that experiences regular rainfall, and I felt it was a genuine safety concern. Rainy season happens every year, so I would expect the resort to have walking surfaces that remain reasonably safe in wet conditions. Also have fun activities for the guests when weather is a factor. Cozumel itself felt very safe, and we enjoyed exploring the town. One downside was the amount of heckling in the marketplace. Being approached repeatedly and having people trying to get you into their shops became quite overwhelming and took away from the enjoyment of shopping. All in all, we had a good vacation and I'm glad we experienced Cozumel. The people were fantastic, the resort had enough to offer and the island was beautiful. For us, though, the overall experience was a 7 to 7.5 out of 10.

Good trip in bad weather
Very accommodating considering the challenging weather they had to work with on our trip! Overall very professional and I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
