  Lovely experience!

  I can’t say enough about this lovely hotel. What made it very special was the people working there. Shout out to Chelsea at the bar - she was so lovely and kind to us! Dinner at Ko was amazing too, as were the fried mushrooms at the bar. thank you so very much for the trip of a lifetime

  Perfect week in Maui!

  We had the most beautiful and relaxing experience at the Fairmont Kea Lani. The service is incredible and our suite was comfortable to say the least…haven’t slept so well in years. We enjoyed the spa and all of the restaurants and bar areas. As we were in need of lots of rest, we arranged a few cabana days at the upper pool which were so relaxing. We were well attended to by the staff, and Nick and Noel took good care of us at the swim up bar. The water slide is fun too…not just for the kiddos! The resort is stunningly decorated and promoted an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. They also did everything they could to make us feel special for my birthday and our wedding anniversary celebration. Bonus; The courtesy car service was a free and convenient way to go to lunch off-property. So glad we chose this resort for our first visit to Maui and can’t wait to come back!

  Over promised and very under delivered.

  I'm happy some people had a great experience. We did not. Never felt like we were at a luxury hotel. Took almost 2 hours for our bags to get to room.after telling him I needed something right away from my bag. Was told it would be just a few minutes. I had to call front desk. If we were hungry I told my husband he could eat the smashed Doritos all over our carpet that had not been vacumed. Also I'd through in one of the many alive and dead bugs in our room! A spider web by front door had caught 8 bugs! I counted them.the light covers..especially in closets were full of dead bugs. Gross!mirrors were smuged. Had toothpastes dots and finger prints. I asked more than3 times to clean out the light covers. They said they would do a deep clean the following day. They did get the Doritos up. But room still had bugs everywhere. I kept picking up and flushing them. After sharing experiences with management they gave us a $200 credit on our bill. We will never go back. 9 days was enough. Oh and while sitting on couch I got bit on my butt by a weird big brown bug I could not catch. Furniture on balcony was dirty and very uncomfortable. Food choices are limited so you better love sushi and fish. The roast chicken at nicks was amazing. Breakfast was really good.On checking out I once again brought up the bug problem in our room. The women at front desk told me I must have brought sand fleas from the beach which we never went to because I have a hurt knee and can't walk on the sand. We moved to napili beach resort. Its wonderful!!! Very clean and no bugs! We are finally relaxing and the pool and beach.are right outside our door. We are retired and travel alot. I have never had to write a bad review. I think the housekeeper on our floor needs some serious training. Hope your stay is better. Aloha!

  A wonderful stay, but a disappointing start

  Overall, we had a very good stay at the Fairmont and enjoyed celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary there. Unfortunately, our check-in experience left us disappointed. When we arrived, Tara asked for my last name. After I said “Simons,” she excitedly told us that we were being upgraded to a nicer room. I was genuinely thrilled, especially since I hadn’t asked for an upgrade and this was such a special anniversary trip for us. She then asked for my first name and realized that the upgrade was actually intended for another guest with the same last name. I completely understand that mistakes happen, but it was still very disappointing after being told we were receiving an upgrade and getting excited about it. I asked if there was any possibility that we could also receive an upgrade, but she simply smiled and began explaining the amenities and benefits available to us—most of which were already included in the Costco package we had booked. While this did not ruin our stay and we otherwise had a good experience at the Fairmont, the way the situation was handled left a lasting impression. A little more acknowledgment of the mistake or an effort to make the moment right would have gone a long way, particularly since we were there celebrating such a meaningful milestone.

  Paradise Is Even Better with People Like This - Best hotel on the island!!

  I had an absolutely wonderful five-night stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani. From the beautiful property and incredible service to the warmth of the team, the entire experience was exceptional. A very special thank you to Jasper Yun, who went above and beyond to coordinate my stay even while he was out of office. He was incredibly accommodating and helped arrange a thoughtful tour of the property as I consider the Fairmont Kea Lani for future meetings and group programs. That level of hospitality, responsiveness, and attention to detail made a lasting impression. There were also several team members who made my stay especially memorable. Brad, the bartender at Pilina, was fantastic, makes the best mai tai on the island, and made every visit to the bar feel welcoming (like I'd known him for years). Kevin, the house car driver, was wonderful, personable, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. And Jerry, my room service attendant, provided such warm and attentive service. Every time I left I had a perfectly tidy room to return too - they even switched out my silk pillow case without me asking, and have LARGE Le Labo products curated special for the property which were replaced before running low. The pools had everything you could need and the spa was unique with the rainfall showers and clay bar experience using ingredients from the island. It’s the people who truly elevate a beautiful resort into an exceptional experience, and the team at Fairmont Kea Lani did exactly that. I left incredibly impressed with both the property and the level of service, and I would absolutely recommend it for both a personal Maui getaway and future corporate group programs. Thank you to the entire Fairmont Kea Lani team for such a memorable stay. I’m already looking forward to returning!
