Paradise exists
Fairmont Mayakoba is my favorite place on Earth, and the people there make it even more special. Sam and his team are outstanding. Our butlers, Fernanda and Javier, were fantastic and took wonderful care of us. Hugo, Adrian, Gilberth, Luis, Joel, Nicolas, Erik, Lalo and the entire beach team were incredible!! Edy, Angeles, and Lizbeth at La Laguna are so talented. Erika, Oasis, Felipe and Roxana at Brisas were also outstanding, as was Amadis, our bellman. Hector and Heber at Tauro were incredible too!! Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

There’s a Reason We Keep Coming Back
The Fairmont Mayakoba continues to be one of our favorite destinations for our events. This was our third time bringing a group to the property, and once again, the experience was exceptional. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. From the lush grounds and waterways to the beach and stunning event spaces, it creates an incredible backdrop and a true sense of place from the moment you arrive. What really sets the Fairmont Mayakoba apart, though, is the staff. The level of service and attention to detail is outstanding. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, attentive and genuinely committed to making sure our guests had an amazing experience. A special thank you to Ana Garcia, who was wonderful to work with throughout our event. Her attention to detail, responsiveness and commitment to our group were so appreciated. When you are responsible for an event and the experience of your guests, having a hotel partner you can trust makes all the difference. And the food! Every meal and event was beautifully executed, with incredible food, thoughtful presentation and consistently excellent service. There is a reason we have chosen to return to the Fairmont Mayakoba three times. It is a spectacular property, but more importantly, it is the people who make it so special. We are incredibly grateful to Ana and the entire Fairmont Mayakoba team for another memorable and successful event!

Seems to have gotten tired. Roach appeared on bed one night, and next to bed the next night. Disconcerting. Main transportation, golf carts, drive recklessly fast on pedestrian paths, and we had to jump out of the way a couple times. Some paths are well lit at night, but not all. Bring a flashlight. Staff members mean well, but I would not call it a luxurious experience.
