    Absolutely fabulous!

I am writing on the final day of what has been by far the most enjoyable vacation I’ve ever had in Mexico (and I have been here many, many times), and most other places as well. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, the views of the Caribbean breathtaking, and the food fantastic, but by far the best thing about Fiesta Americana is the staff. From the front desk, to the restaurants, to the bars, the cleaning people, the waiters/waitresses are all extraordinary. Special thanks to Alejandra, Christian, Gabriel, Maria, Carlos, Noemi (spa), even Saul, who was persistent in trying to get me to buy into their rewards program, was always kind and courteous. I cannot speak highly enough about them. The beach access across the street has been reopened, along with their lovely restaurant. I will definitely come back for my vacation next year, and the year after that, and the year after that…

    Experience at Fiesta Americana

Put experience at Fiesta Americana was extremely pleasant. Something that stood out specifically for my family was the quality of service from our waiter, Gabriel. He was very thorough and accommodating while also being super friendly. There is nothing negative to say about our experience staying here!

    Beach Club is Open!!!!

Beautiful week on beach in Cozumel! Hotel staff are lovely. The major disappointment was they wanted to put us in a musty room on 2nd floor so we had to pay to upgrade. The bed in the Master Suite is comfy but pillows a little too big. Some of the food is good and some not so good. Coffee/ice cream/dessert bar is awesome. The Sushi Bar, Breakfast Buffet, El Grille, and Cevicheria are all great! The waiter in the Asian restaurant Edgar is amazing. He accommodated all my food allergies and I am a vegetarian. Francisco who is a waiter in the Beachfront Buffet was wonderful as well. The Italian restaurant was not my favorite everything lacking flavor. Aaron and Juanito the waiters on the beach were at the ready to serve us all day and were nice. The pool needs some attention but beach club makes up for it. My massage was out of this world at the spa. We dove with Dive House again and we love them and their crew and had a fantastic week diving, David, Victor, Esau, Antonio, Rinaldo are just some of the awesome crew and dive staff. All in all, I’m just really excited to be blissed out on the beach in paradise.

    Beautiful and great service, but….

The pool tiles need repair all over the place. My daughter was one of several children who had their legs or foot cut open and needed first aid/medical attention during our stay. This is a great place for families but there’s zero nightlife and the place shuts down at 10/11PM. Room service is 24/7. However, the food is not authentic if you want real Mexican food this isn’t it.

    Perfect girls trip!

Just returned from a 4 day stay at Fiesta Americana Cozumel. We are 4, 30-year old best friends on a girls trip! If you are looking for a relaxing, smaller scale resort, this is the place for you. If you are like me and are reading all of the negative reviews, do not be scared! I think some of these people think that they are going to a 5-star luxury resort. While it is not perfect, there is a reason people continue to return to this resort, and we definitely will be returning next year! Yes, there are missing tiles in the pool. Yes, the rooms can get humid (YOU ARE ON AN ISLAND IN MEXICO) but we did not experience any musty smells (and the AC in the rooms work great). Yes, the hotel has things that could be spruced up here and there (just like most affordable resorts in Mexico post-covid). They were actively touching up paint and whatnot while we were there, so there is active progress being made. BUT we did not think about those things once while on the trip. We spent most of the time on the beach side of the resort (across the street). The beach club & cabanas (which you have full access to, at NO charge unlike most other resorts) are opened again! They were closed for 3 years and opened the day that we arrived (3/23/24). Lucky us!! Service by the beach was amazing even for only being back open a few days. They will bring you drinks and food from any of the lunch restaurants on the beach. If you throw your cover up on, you can also hop into the buffet that’s right on the beach and bring the food out to your cabana/chairs. The food is was surprisingly impressive for an all-inclusive (especially the cevecheria by the beach!). If you are a frequent all-inclusive visitor, you know how hard it can be to find one with decent food. And if you’re picky, remember, you’re at an all-inclusive! Order something else and you are sure to find something you’ll like! Reservations were easy to make online using the provided QR code. There are typically 2 out of the 3 dinner restaurants opened each evening as well as the buffet. When the buffet was closed, all 3 sit down restaurants were open. All of the staff, from the check in staff (who didn’t shove any time-share pitches down our throats!!), to maintenance staff, to the bartenders, and servers (we loved Aaron on the beach!) were so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping came every day of our stay. They restocked the mini fridge (coke, sprite, beers, waters, one bag of chips) daily. If we ran out of anything during the day, we called front desk or room service and they sent more right up. The most recent reviews really scared us, but we were BEYOND pleased upon our arrival and throughout our entire stay, so do not let those deter you! We can’t wait to be back again!
