A few great staff members but not worth it to ever go back
I would honestly give this stay a zero, but I feel bad doing so because there were several incredible staff members who truly made our experience enjoyable. Victor, the bellman, was always friendly and eager to help. Our personal concierge, Saul, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He made sure all of our dinner reservations were set, helped with tours and accommodations, and always responded to my texts right away. He truly went above and beyond. Bartenders Henry and Angel also made our trip better with excellent service and by learning our names from day one, which made us feel very welcomed. Manuel at the Peninsula Restaurant was another standout. That ended up being the only restaurant our family of nine enjoyed, so we dined there three times and were lucky enough to have Manuel each visit. He was an amazing server and even asked the chef to prepare a special dish for my stepfather, which was delicious. The tuna was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Our room attendant was also wonderful — I wish I remembered her name — she was always kind, happy, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Unfortunately, aside from these individuals, we would not recommend this hotel. The rest of the staff was not friendly or easy to deal with, which was especially disappointing given that we are members. At no point during our stay were we treated as members — not upon arrival and not at any time throughout the trip. This is the first time this has ever happened during our entire membership, and it was very noticeable. There was mold in our room, and when I reported it, the only note taken was that the AC was leaking. I truly hope the room is thoroughly cleaned before another guest stays there. All of the rooms were extremely humid, to the point that our hair and clothes smelled unpleasant. The food at the other two restaurants was also very disappointing, which was frustrating given the limited dining options and the fact that this is an all-inclusive resort. We ended up eating Italian twice and tried to stick to the Asian restaurant and sushi bar as much as possible. While a handful of staff members went above and beyond and deserve recognition, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from Fiesta Americana, especially as long-time members, and sadly, we would not return to this location.

Wonderful Staff, beautiful views
We stayed 5 days this December and had an incredible time. The views from the beach club were spectacular, the water around the dock for snorkeling was crystal clear. You can use the resort’s life jackets, but bring your own snorkel gear and fins (first timer mistake on us). We had good meals, a clean room, and fun attending events. Food was good, truly enjoyed the Asian restaurant the best and quesadillas from the grille. But what made the stay incredible were the staff members we met. Miguel, wait staff at the poolside area, went above and beyond keeping up with our needs or anticipating them before we knew it. He was attentive, had a big smile on his face, friendly and helpful. Service with a smile, every day. The entertainment team, Angel, Jasmine, Belim (not sure if name is correctly spelled) and Edgar were fun, engaging, and got to know us. We loved the daily trivia as well as the Casino night. They put a huge smile on my face as they acknowledged my birthday and sung to me. These staff members made our stay special and want to come back again. Thank you for the wonderful service as well as incredible stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Bring Earplugs
I'll start by saying we love the location, food, rooms, and staff.....all top notch. It is also a great value for your money. I would give all of these categories a 5 rating. What drags it down to a 3 is the noise level. All of the rooms overlook the pool and the ocean. In the afternoon they have pool games where the host screams into a microphone with the volume cranked up. There are maybe 10 people playing the pool games, and they're all within 20 feet of the host, so there is no need for the screaming. At night they have disco type dance music with the volume really cranked up. Again, there are maybe 10 people at most participating. I don't know who is responsible for this entertainment, but they fail miserably at understanding the demographic this resort attracts. The entertainment is targeted at single, 20 something folks, looking for a party and hookups. The people staying at the resort are either couples with small children, grandparents with grandkids, or middle-age to senior couples who are in Cozumel for the scuba diving and relaxing. Not exactly the kind of folks who want disco beat vibrating their windows and music/screaming so load they can't sit on their balconies and enjoy the view and ocean breezes. By the way, it's also a big problem even when you're inside with the doors closed. We would like to come back due to the positives I listed at the start of this review, but that is highly unlikely unless the noise problem is addressed.

Fun times in Cozumel!
Had a great time! The entertainment team was amazing! Belem, Angel, and Jasmine made sure we had fun while out in the pool with trivia, games, and different shows in the evening. The food was also delicious, and all staff are very helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here!
