  My experience

  My experience at fiesta americana Acapulco was nice. I went with my family. The hotel was closed to the Beach. The room had a balcony with a beatiful view of the sea. In the afternoon the sunset was beatiful. The hotel had a bufete but it was very early. I algo revender playing with the lift with my cousins. We went up and down many times and was a lot fun. It was a nice trip.

  Stay away - Absolutely not worth the money

  This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. We travelled here with our baby specifically hoping for a relaxing few days, but the level of relaxation was essentially zero. In fact, the lack of peace and quiet made the stay exhausting rather than restorative. It quickly became clear that the hotel’s priority is not its guests, but selling memberships. We were repeatedly approached, pressured and essentially chased by staff trying to sell us a membership. Instead of feeling welcomed as paying guests, we felt like walking sales targets. It completely ruined the atmosphere from the beginning. The condition of the property is another major disappointment. The rooms are old and badly in need of renovation, and the bathrooms are particularly outdated. In our first room, there was a strong smell of mold, and visible mold around the bathroom hinges. We had to change rooms because of this. The beach was also far from what you would expect from a hotel in this category. There was rubbish scattered around the beach, despite plenty of staff from the neighboring bar standing around just meters away. They seemed completely uninterested in cleaning it up. It was honestly difficult to understand how this could be acceptable. Then there is the excessive use of plastic. Plastic cups everywhere — including the welcome drink. For a hotel presenting itself at this level, this felt incredibly cheap and outdated. Breakfast was another huge disappointment. We paid extra for it, tried it once, and never went back. The quality was nowhere near what you would expect for the price. They could not even prepare a proper cappuccino. Charging extra for such a poor breakfast is simply not justified. But the worst part was the noise. Our room was repeatedly subjected to an absolutely ridiculous level of noise. Loud parties outside made it feel like we were sleeping next to a festival. On top of that, the street noise was so extreme that it felt as though we were sleeping directly in the middle of the road. The bass was so loud that you could literally feel it vibrating through your body. We travelled with a baby, and having a quiet and restful room was therefore especially important to us. Instead, we were repeatedly unable to sleep or properly rest. The noise made the entire stay exhausting, and the relaxation factor was practically non-existent. We raised the issue, yet the problem continued. A hotel room should provide a basic level of peace and the possibility to sleep — especially for families with young children. Here, that was simply not the case. We ultimately decided to leave the hotel early because we had reached the point where we could no longer tolerate it. The only positive aspect of our entire stay was the pool service team. They were genuinely friendly, attentive and professional — unfortunately, they were the exception rather than the rule. For the price and the category of this hotel, the overall experience was completely unacceptable. Old rooms, mold, dirty beach, excessive plastic, terrible value for breakfast, aggressive membership sales and unbearable noise. We came here with our baby expecting a relaxing stay. We left exhausted and extremely disappointed. Definitely not a hotel we would choose again.

  Highly Recommend

  My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. I came on vacation from the USA but got so much more in return. I feel well rested and rejuvenated. The food was amazing and enjoyed this locations accommodations. The only thing is the loud party music nearby over the weekend. Otherwise it was awesome. Great friendly people that made us feel welcomed regardless of what they say on the news. We loved it here.

  Beautiful Hotel with Great Food and a Fantastic Setting

  We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Acapulco Bay. The setting is beautiful, and the hotel itself was lovely—very clean, well-maintained, and tidy throughout. There were plenty of great food options, and we especially enjoyed the Blu restaurant near the pool. It was a favorite during our stay and a convenient spot to grab something to eat while enjoying the pool area. Our only real complaint was the lack of lounge chairs and shade around the pool. The pool area was very crowded, and it was difficult to find a chair, especially when looking for a shaded spot. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed the beautiful property, cleanliness, and variety of dining options. We would definitely consider staying here again.
