My teenager and I had the best time here. The location is perfect, it is right on the beach. The hotel is clean and the grounds are beautiful. It is not too large. Our room was very clean and quiet. The staff at Margaritaville are all helpful and extremely kind. Scott, the manager, is constantly walking around and checking on guests. The front desk staff were all so nice. Fernando at the spa was so nice, he helped me practice my Spanish. Priscilla gives wonderful massages. We will return for sure.

Absolute Paradise
This hotel is one of the best places we have ever stayed and we travel a LOT and I am very picky. We have been with our family now 4 times and have already booked for 2027. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, it's right on the beach. It's laidback vibe and surroundings make this the definition of paradise. And the staff...they are the most lovely, friendly and helpful people of any hotel I have been to. In all of our stays I have yet to meet someone that isn't happy, kind and ready to help with anything. The rooms are all cozy, clean and beautifully decorated and the beds are comfy. I cherish our time there as a family and have made the best memories here. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—it’s within walking distance of the marina, the beach, restaurants, and shops, making everything very convenient. The highlight of our trip was meeting Mainor Gonzalez, the tour guide located at the hotel’s beach area. If you’re planning any excursions, I highly recommend him! He is incredibly kind, professional, honest, and knowledgeable. From the moment we met him, he made us feel safe and helped us choose the tours that best matched what we wanted to experience. We booked several amazing tours with him, including ziplining, hanging bridges, wildlife viewing, waterfalls, snorkeling and a breathtaking catamaran sunset cruise. Our full-day tour even included a delicious lunch, and he always made sure we had plenty of bottled water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Every tour was well organized, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Mainor, for making our Costa Rica vacation so memorable! HOTEL REVIEW: Nice hotel overall! The breakfast had a variety to select from. The beach was nice and clean. It was the perfect family getaway hotel! The only hotel downside was a little outdated and some staff weren’t the friendliness as well. TOUR GUIDE REVIEW: if you’re looking for a tour guide go with Mainor Gonzalez! He was amazing and super helpful in accommodating us with a tour each time. The tours were spectacular (recommend the catamaran, zip line, and 8hr day tour of waterfalls, swinging bridges, coffee/chocolate class, and rain forest animal watching + lunch included). I definitely recommend obtaining them with him! He is located as you walk outside to the beach. His number is 506-6091-1417.
