    Bring a chair and earplugs

The facilities and the food are a standard three star hotel. As with most hotels in Mexico, the staff makes it better. There are not nearly enough chairs for the amount of people at the resort and there are no loungers at all on the beach. This is very strange as all the people just lay on their towels in the sand. All the rooms on the road side are extremely loud all night long as the road is very busy and they’re on a lot of loud motorcycles. During our week stay we heard nonstop complaints from all the other guests. I would not let her on this hotel unless it was extremely cheap.

    Bad very bad

Hotel & Rooms: The hotel looks nice, rooms are clean, and the beach location is good. From the outside, it feels like it could be a decent resort. Staff: Unfortunately, the staff were not professional and showed very poor understanding of guest service. Communication and problem-solving were extremely weak. Food (Very Bad): This is where the hotel completely fails. The food is disgusting, low quality, and poorly prepared. This is by far the worst all-inclusive food I have ever experienced. All-Inclusive? Not Really: • Everything shuts down at 11:00 PM • After 11 PM they turn off the lights • No food, no service, nothing available • When we got hungry, we had to order Uber Eats • We ended up eating outside the hotel most of the time because the food inside was not edible I have never seen such a poor all-inclusive hotel. An all-inclusive resort should provide food and service late, especially for paying guests.

    Flamingo Cancun

Smokers - note the property is 100% smoke-free - not something advertised anywhere. You will be fined $250USD if caught (notified upon check in). You will need to go out onto the sidewalk / street in front of the hotel to have a cigarette. No designated smoking areas within the resort at all. That being said: the resort was small, clean and safe. The staff are absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and welcoming. Our room was in an incredible location (basic hotel room, nothing spectacular) but the private loungers overlooking the small pool, with the Caribbean Sea as the backdrop? Stunning. The food was good - always something to eat but there were not a lot of choices. (Again, think small resort: one main buffet, one beachfront restaurant that offered a smaller breakfast buffet then table service for lunch and supper, wood fired pizza at Don Roberto’s (that you are not allowed to take out of their small dining area) and a snack bar (cheeseburgers, fries, hot dogs and nachos). If you are looking for a beautiful beach? Yes. The beach at the resort itself is not very big, but we were able to enjoy walks up and down in front of neighbouring resorts without issue. We went for a week of rest and relaxation which is exactly what we got.

    Definitely not as advertised

Besides a beautiful beach, and a good selection of alcohol.there was nothing about this resort that I could say anything good about. I was there over Christmas for one week. Starting with the overview of the hotel it states are six restaurants. There is one buffet, one main restaurant with very limited choices, a seating area around one of the small pools with about five tables that you must be sat at to be able to order. There is a pizza place that you will wait for a minimum of 90 minutes while they make you sit down and wait (if you’re even able to find an open table). Other than that, I don’t know where this six restaurants are coming from? There is a coffee shop that is not included that serve Starbucks coffee with Starbucks prices. Menu is limited. Considering being in Mexico couldn’t get anything mecican other than a fish taco at the main restaurant. Every guest that I met on the resort was so disappointed. You cannot smoke anywhere on hotel grounds and need to go out the hotel and down all the steps to the street to smoke. There was absolutely no entertainment other than one night they set up a few casino tables at the bar lounge for about two hours! I would’ve thought being Christmas time there would’ve been some kind of Christmas entertainment, but there was absolutely nothing. The morning of the first night in my room, I went in the bathroom and everything I had left on the vanity was soaking wet coming from water dripping from the pot light above. It took three phone calls to the front desk and 24 hours to get someone in there to service it. As far as finding a relaxing place to sit on the beach, you’ll need to just place a towel down on the sand somewhere as there are very few lounge beds and no lounge chairs unless you want to get up at 6 AM in the morning to put your towel out, you will not get to bed around the pool or beach. Forget about getting a drink after 11 PM. As the main lounge bar closes. Room service was a joke. Every time I tried to call when they heard me speak English they would hang up probably because they couldn’t understand or they just didn’t want to bother doing room service, which was a very limited menu hotdog hamburgers nachos, or french fries! I don’t understand all the positive reviews unless they’re able to pick and choose which ones go up there? I travel at least twice a year and this has got to be the worst experience! I was ready to go home on day two but unfortunately, six more days felt like six weeks.

Very Strange Experience, No beach loungers on beach!

My husband and I went for a week, I would have rated this resort higher if they would have had sun loungers on the beach. Just imagine the shock of walking out on this beautiful beach and No lawn chairs! heck we would have been happy with those cheap plastic ones! They did have those fancy sun beds (maybe 50)? But you can’t even get full sun laying on them. Not to mention you had the get up at 6:30 am to put your towel on one to save it! I always said I would never be that person to do that. Well my husband was that person at this hotel! Also around both pools there weren’t very many loungers or sun beds. . And by the way the hotel wasn’t full. Thank god! Food was not too bad, just not much to choose from and not much of a selection. Not much mexican food. Drinks were great. pizza was amazing! Beware bars open late and close early. No beach bar. pool bar opens at 9am, closes at 6:30 pm. and then all you have is the very small lobby bar, opens at 6:30pm, closes at 11:00pm. Piss poor management and hotel design. would we go back? no. thank god we had an ocean view room!
